本身唔係好肥美,不過連汁一齊食非常開胃,感覺良好。

出色!外脆內不榎,每一啖都好滑,而且瑣主少少肉汁。

上菜那一刻還莫名奇妙點解有鴨胸,睇番menu原來係鹿肉。第一次食,有點像牛仔肉。

可能方魚本身不太有味,不過個汁令這道菜更加出色。

Lunch: (1) smoked wagyu beef tartare - very nice...good seasoning...good portion; (2) potato gnocchi w roasted chestnuts and Brussels sprouts - gnocchi was light and fluffy but would have preferred it to be a bit smoother...flavour was okay. OVERALL - decent. SUGGEST - smoked wagyu beef tartare. How I rate: awesome > decent > meh > terrible.

Nice weather for an al fresco meal that's why wasn't bothered when being told that we will be seated on the balcony at reservation but I couldn't help wondering why the lack of a courteous offer of an option to sit indoor upon arrival - the place was not completely full and there were some empty tables throughout the night that would have fitted our party size... otherwise service was ok.While socialising, we ordered a round of cock- and mock-tails which didn't strike.Food - the starters, 1/2 lo

Food - the starters, 1/2 lobster, baby gem salad, Hokkaido scallop and 63c egg were quite promising; however everything turned south when the mains and sides came. The truffle mac and sole were overly salty, the chicken not much taste, the rib eye too many tough tendons in it.

Lastly I wish they would consider using coasters for cold drinks in the outdoor because droplets of water from condensation collected at the feet of the glasses kept falling on our shoes through the slits in between the wooden beams of the tables!

While we were still deciding what to order, they have served us some bread with some salt and butter. The bread is freshly made at the restaurant, as I saw they were preparing the dough there. The bread is hot, thus the butter will melt down quickly and absorbed by the bread. Moreover the bread is crispy on the surface and moisture and soft within, which is in perfect texture.

My boyfriend ordered Aberdeen Royal Flush, I guess he likes the phase for the poker. I was shocked by its stunning appearance, as it was served in a bottle with a nice looking of glass. There is an Ace along with the glass, you can simply pour out the cocktail into the glass. There is a of hint smoke within the bottle, I bet that is the cinnamon smoke. It contains a strong alcohol flavor with a slight smokey cinnamon taste, not everyone can handle it for sure.

As for me, I chose How D’ya Like Them Apple? , which is also a phase that people usually say. Girls should be more enjoy with this cocktail, because it got a fruity sweet taste. The hint of gin, apple and lime juice is in well balanced, then topped with a sliced of apple crisp. So “How D’ya Like Them Apple?”

Then the dinner began with two Irish Rock Oyster, they are pairing with onion and vinegar sauce, Tabasco and lemon juice. That pinkish onion and vinegar sauce are rather sour but are super refreshing at the same time. The oysters were fresh and taste excellent with the sour onion and vinegar sauce and a few drops of lemon juice. It is totally remarkable and I am completely in love with it!!

We passed by CitySuper before we came here and we were just talking about tortellini. Hence, we decided to try Tortellini with Celery Root and Summer Truffle. Tortellini is rather common, yet it is rare to use Celery Root as the filling!! They are quite gentle to place few slices of truffle on top and non-seasonal Summer Truffle won't have a strong flavor to cover the celery taste. And that thin tortellini with a hint of refreshing celery flavor is absolutely delicious and outstanding.

Soon after one of our main course, Whole Sole Menuniere on the Bone with Finger Potatoes, has been served to the table. It is normal to eat a whole fish in Chinese cuisine, but not so likely in western dishes. It is presumably the western dishes are more delicate and fancy, the fish head are quite pretty for the plate. This menuniere was covered by capers and bread crumbs and surrounded by lemon butter sauce. Nonetheless, it is a bit salty, better to eat with the finger potato to neturalize the saltiness.

Another main course that we selected is 8oz Australian M6 Wagyu Picanha, it is made with a 300 days of grain-fed cow. To be a meat lover, you gotta choose medium rare for the beef to preserve its amazing flavor and texture. Yet, my boyfriend said it is too raw for him and we chose medium cooked at the end. Luckily, the pinkish meat is still visible, hell yeah baby!! The meat is not as tender as I expected though, which Wagyu beef should be rather tender. It was served with some French fries and two sauces, pepper sauce and south island sauce.

I had a look on Instagram about the restaurant, the Truffle Mac seems very appealing and we cannot resist from it. And it was a smart decision, because it tastes spectacular! The cooked penne mixed with truffle sauce and topped with few bread crumbs and herbs, everything is well combined and didn’t overshadow either of the flavors.

We won’t get satisfied until we have dessert lol, therefore we picked Almond and Honey Cake & Carrot Cake.

The Almond and Honey Cake was moisture and carried a light sweetness taste. It is pairing with the goat cheese icecream and that rich sheep’s milk flavor is oddly good. But I believe not everyone can handle the strong sheep’s milk flavor, make sure you are okay with that unique taste before you order. On the side, there are plenty of sweet and sour cranberries, jelly and cookie crumbs. There are lots of flavors and textures within this dessert and it is definitely delicate.

Carrot Cake may sound weird for local people, as they didn’t know carrot can actually be an ingredient for the dessert. Nevertheless, carrot cakes are normal in western country and they are super yummy. This sponge cake contains a light carrot flavor and it is sided with the homemade carrot sorbet, lemon curd, marinated carrot and few more ingredients. There is s fresh taste among the carrot sorbet, it is a bit interesting. Overall this dessert is okay, I would preferred the Almond and Honey Cake over this.

We were pretty full from all those tasty dishes, thus we asked for some tea and coffee to erase the heaviness. However, we didn’t expect there is a complimentary dessert along with the tea and coffee. It got a stunning presentation, I can ensure girls would love this. The sweet bites are placed on the stairway, there are Coconut Soft Candy, Lime Zest and White Chocolate and Strawberry Gummy. They are all rather sweet though, so is not suitable for me at that time.

This is my go-to brunch place more for the atmosphere than the actual food. SettingThe best thing about Aberdeen Street Social is that you feel like you're dining in a garden, surrounded by Hollywood Road's leafy greenness. It's situated in a courtyard blocking off the sometimes-oppressing road action of Soho / Aberdeen Street. Atmosphere is light and airy, lots of space, a healthy amount of people around but it all adds to the pleasantry rather than infringing on your space. ServiceCheery enoug

I switched the bacon for smoked salmon. Spinach was good, but sourdough (or at least that's what I think it was) was awful. It was so chewy and doughy in all the wrong ways. They have yet to get their bread technique right. It tasted like something they froze a long time ago then toasted halfway, then served. Hollandaise could also be improved on.

The fish & chips was the best dish we had. I guess it is a British restaurant after all! Perfectly battered, fresh and excellent texture and taste for the cod. 
Pancake: Bacon, fried egg and maple syrup (HK$125)

Forgot to take a photo of this but it was decent for a person who doesn't like pancakes. Maple syrup a guilty indulgence. I would have preffered the waffles, though, but I was overruled.

Would I go back?
Yes. As much as the food is less than impressive, I enjoy the restaurant as a whole. It's a great place to hang out and relax for weekend brunch, without having to spend an arm and a leg on those champagne buffets... although in the end we spent more than 300 per person anyway, don't ask how that happened..

One of the greatest place to escape from the crazinest of the city and have a bit of green near by. Cocktail are great and very creative, the Lucky draw is tasty with a good presentation and I love how they make homemade mashmallow at the end of the dinner.Beside the good food, I must admit the service is not what use to be. No one dare to apologies from this matter or warn us that they will make noice, why not waiting the end of the service? Do you care of the customers in your establisment?
After asking to stop to a waitress I had the her starting to be agressive and rude to explain it is an emergy problem. Really? Furniture is emergency?
This is shocking for the high price location with the bottle of water at 77HKD...
Need serious improvement on the staff, too sad.

Aberdeen Street Social has one of the best brunch menus of Hong Kong. Perfect for large groups due to its great variety. You can expect a certain standard and quality of this restaurant group. The food tasted as good as it looked. Our server was still sleeping, but he had to work on a Sunday, so we can't really be too demanding.

There's a restaurant called Aberdeen Street a 5-minute walk up the hill, which is pretty awesome too. Huge plates of good food. Since it was a birthday brunch we needed a bit of a treat, which was the lobster (wrapped in a blanket) roll and the lobster (sleeping on pillows of) poached eggs. Great pastry and cakes too!

Party of eight. $3100 paid. (We ordered a lot, though. See menu on the website for prices).

  炸得非常薄脆,單是用手輕取一片就已經有少許碎裂。炸香過的海苔米餅不是我們小時候吃的那種厚硬脆零食,可以命名作米紙的薄度。這次的來得香口,也帶輕微鹹度及米香,只是太薄太易感油膩。所之旁邊的墨魚汁蒜香蛋黃醬是必沾之物,細滑香潤,味道不至過濃,卻點綴了米餅。

  看著就覺得好似好清新好似好健康的一道菜,色澤亦為豐富吸引。成色不同的蕃茄,由黃到橙到紅至深紅,一次過品嚐得到。蕃茄那份清酸來得溫和,多汁,果肉意外地帶綿腍,不是平時沙律的爽脆。中間奶白,富鹹意奶香的自家製Ricotta不帶膩感。加上Onion Seed的不嗆深香及Aged Balsamic Vinaigrette酸中帶甜的修飾。事實上不完全是清新之作,味道可是豐滿著的。

Pan-roasted Hokkaido Scallops, Truffled Cauliflower Puree and Home-grown Radish Tops
  煎至略帶金黃焦意的北海道貝肉一客三件,厚薄合宜。略泛油光,幸好入口以甜味焦香為主,雖不厚肉,但中心仍是嫩香不韌口。自家種植的小紅皮蘿蔔片至薄身,不至清爽,就只是配襯之用。但旁邊伴有的松露油椰菜花蓉味道則比較突出,細滑甜意及帶微鹹的松露幽香。不過兩者分開前後擺放,若是混合起來,也許有著有趣的效果。

Char-grilled M5 Australian Wagyu Rump, Roasted Gem Letture Caesar Style
  來到重口味的M5澳洲和牛,點了Medium Rare,上桌時中心紅潤,粉嫩,到帶啡及深褐。層層的演變,輕泛的油光叫人食指大動,說真的,連照也不想多拍。不過我先扮健康,事實也不然,因為旁邊烤至微淋邊位略焦的生菜也不見得善良。唧上凱撒沙律醬及小片煙肉,也不忘芝士,鹹香濃重,酸甜香潤不減。沒有半點稱為得上清新,還是直接吃烤香牛肉,認了吧。
  本以為是Rump會很紥實,但其實除了略為帶筋那一下會難咬之外,只會是嚼感滿滿。外層熟透,香口不過,其後半熟至紅潤的部分可是牛肉肉香滿載。調味不會過重,且有肉邊的厚脂加成(我沒有去掉那厚脂肪),油香豐腴潤口得很。此為我們公認最喜歡的一道菜式,明明很飽肚很多油脂,不腥不膻的滋味卻教人懷念。

Frozen Dark Chocolate and Peanut Parfait, Roasted Banana Ice-cream and Cookie Crumble
  甜品之選,我很喜歡的香蕉及朱古力配搭,不知道味道又何如?朱古力蛋糕外為薄脆一層,也許就是Frozen後的效果。但中心竟是如Mousse的軟綿細緻,除了朱古力甜香外,更有花生香氣。直至吃到花生粒才知道真有加入花生,就說我沒有好好看餐牌了,只看了Chocolate一字就算。朱古力味在我而言實在不是Dark,未有我心水的苦味,但這是大眾化的Dark。
  烤有焦糖面的香蕉肉只是小段,表層實也不算脆口了,但甜綿香順。旁邊放在的一小球更是自家製焦糖香蕉雪糕,蕉味甚為自然。帶焦糖的焦香,甜度合宜,香滑而不重冰感。灑上的少許Cookie Crumble不算香脆,對味道也沒有太大影響,還是先忽略它好了。

  最後的最後小點,以前在澳門The Tasting Room吃過的果汁糖又再出現。酸酸甜甜,味道是自然的,質感是黏牙漿口的,也不是十分大眾口味。反而Citron Marshmallow會來得輕巧更多,清新更多。還有讓人意料不及的辣味朱古力拖肥,甜之間有著一絲辣,帶煙韌咬口(說實話不清楚名字,只是亂猜,而我少吃零食糖果所之不一定是正確名稱)。
  由於總覺得高級餐廳又貴又細份,選擇時非常謹慎。以前聽一些友人提起Aberdeen Street Social,就說質素不太穩定,我也因而未有一嚐。首次來到,感覺卻不差,就算是人客多多,上菜亦不會慢條斯理。而且牛肉那道菜的火候控制都未見有問題,上桌時依然暖熱。要數不足之處,也許就是有時候油了些少,例如是米餅,其他……似乎又沒有大問題啊。友人說因為這次的特別餐牌,感覺吸引不少,有想再給它一次機會。但講真要試就要趁8月,快啲訂位啦。

PMQ這麼好的環境,最適合悠閒高茶了!這tea set的鹹甜比例得宜,每件食物都不太細小,加起來挺飽足的。Scone比較乾身淡味,三文治質素普通。但甜點不錯的,泡芙流出香滑的朱古力cream,白色一杯的薰衣草慕絲都挺清香,柑橘撻撻皮香脆,餡料甜中帶清新。算一算這tea set的價錢,實在份量十足,亦沒令人失望!Afternoon Tea Set for 2 $288

這tea set的鹹甜比例得宜,每件食物都不太細小,加起來挺飽足的。

Scone比較乾身淡味,三文治質素普通。但甜點不錯的,泡芙流出香滑的朱古力cream,白色一杯的薰衣草慕絲都挺清香,柑橘撻撻皮香脆,餡料甜中帶清新。

算一算這tea set的價錢,實在份量十足,亦沒令人失望!

香檳究竟用來配什麼菜式才最適合?很多人都會說是一些較矜貴的食材,例如:魚子醬、生蠔以及芝士等等.....計我話,用來配雞蛋菜色也非常不錯。經典香檳品牌 KRUG 就用行動來告訴我們,他們的Grande Cuvee可塑性非常高,品牌與十多間香港優質食肆合作推出多款 KRUG X egg 的菜色,其中一間,便是位於中環PMQ的 Aberdeen Social Street。餐廳用中式蒸籠去蒸雞蛋黃,蒸至半凝固狀態便將它放進碗內,連同蘆荀、松露、巴馬臣芝士一齊吃。蘆筍與蛋一向都是絕配,芝士的鹹香亦與香檳非常匹配,新鮮蘆荀配以味道濃郁的松露,味蕾頓時得到百份百的滿足感,美中不足的是,對於淡口味的我來說,那醬汁有點太鹹。於promotion期間內 (由即日起至9月30月),食客只需付上$350元便可享用一杯矜貴的 KRUG 香檳以及以上的蛋菜式,價錢也挺吸引的。

餐廳用中式蒸籠去蒸雞蛋黃,蒸至半凝固狀態便將它放進碗內,連同蘆荀、松露、巴馬臣芝士一齊吃。蘆筍與蛋一向都是絕配,芝士的鹹香亦與香檳非常匹配,新鮮蘆荀配以味道濃郁的松露,味蕾頓時得到百份百的滿足感,美中不足的是,對於淡口味的我來說,那醬汁有點太鹹。

我同我女朋友都好鍾意食龍蝦,行街經過見到有得食又點會放過。個ROLL D 龍蝦肉量多又爽口,配上冰涼的Cocktail Suace,感覺真係好FRESH,個麵包香脆得黎還帶烘過的焦香,附送薯條。薯條係食果陣已經凍左,但好彩都唔會話好淋,係有小小油。Lobster Roll $258

難得假期梗係chill一下,去左pmq 門口一間餐廳,見咁滿座一定唔錯。去到叫左smoked salmon cream cheese bagel with lemon , chamomile tea and bellini,咁上菜既速度都好驚人,不出幾分鐘就有得食。食頭幾啖好好食,不過愈食salmon就愈咸,蓋過左 cream cheese bagel味道,雖然落左檸檬汁,都無補於事。好彩叫左chamomile tea 黎飲,清甜生津解渴;而bellini似香賓,但鮮果味唔夠出眾。以上一共吃了$262。

小人向來對食甚有興趣,在新同事引領下,到了一間英式餐廳。小人不理三七二一,先來個這兒的至尊Lobster Roll龍蝦熱狗。龍蝦勁多,那擱在上面的原隻龍蝦拑,已使人目定口呆。龍蝦迷如小人自是霸著來吃,雖然不太夠熱,龍蝦癮已是百分百的滿足!Poached eggs試得多,當遇上牛油果又如何? 微暖的西式烚蛋躺臥在軟糯的牛油果茸及脆脆的多士上,還有精選的芝麻菜,一起夾雜入口,小人會給勁多的讚。香蕉班戟+朱古力雪糕可謂史上最強之組合! 可喜的是這兒不是用甚麼香蕉忌廉之類的東西,而是原片蕉肉,蕉香得以盡情發放。雪糕不屬於太滑的一種,小人就愛那啖啖raw的口感!為了龍蝦,為了烚蛋,再到又何妨?😎

香蕉班戟+朱古力雪糕可謂史上最強之組合! 可喜的是這兒不是用甚麼香蕉忌廉之類的東西,而是原片蕉肉,蕉香得以盡情發放。雪糕不屬於太滑的一種,小人就愛那啖啖raw的口感!

去左PMQ感受完創意氣息之後,黎左呢到食個early dinner。 間餐廳有室外及室內位,一入到餐廳,個侍應就話室外無位啦,其實個日落雨濕濕,我地都唔想坐室外,不過見到好多外國人都坐室外。其實餐廳提供既菜式都唔算太特別,係有個lobster roll 比較吸引,所以就叫左個lobster roll同sea bass 'BLT' pork belly試下。4/5 - lobster roll, French fries 個包唔算好大個,不過好多龍蝦肉,個汁好襯個龍蝦,好似加左少少蔥/濃味菜吊味,仲有個大龍蝦腳食,正。龍蝦係凍,不過連個包都係凍。雖然個包好鬆化同有烘過,但唔夠熱同脆身4/5 - sea bass 'BLT' pork belly + Mac'n cheese塊魚同個豬腩肉比較清淡,無咩調味,雖然上面有新鮮蕃茄整既醬,但其實兩個放入口,d味都係好獨立既。呢道菜仲有塊磨菇同菜,呢兩個配菜好有中菜既味道Mac'n cheese 好食,個cheese唔會太重味最後叫左個brownie做甜品4/5 - brownie 無諗過brownie 係一個朱古力蛋糕,蛋糕好重朱古力味,中間個

無諗過brownie 係一個朱古力蛋糕,蛋糕好重朱古力味,中間個mousse好食,食食下會有陣橙味,唔係檸檬味

呢個個環境幾好,餐廳室內好黑,同朋友食下野飲下酒,都可以hea好耐。
