Came here to dine with my girlfriend because we had the 20% off coupon from taking business class in cx.The deocr is very nice and romantic, esp with a floral shop and a cafe outside the restaurant. Also had seaview so we thought it was going to be a good dining experience.We got there almost at last order, the waiters and waitresses clearly couldnt wait to get off.We wanted to ask them a little bit abt the steaks they had, they didnt bother explaining anything to us.The food was also very bad.

The food was also very bad. With the price they charge i expected smth a lot more than they had to offer.

When we ordered dessert, you could tell they were pissed off because it was already closing time.

Not going back anymore. Could have had much better food and service with that price.

Have the crave for french mussle, Agnes B is always my top of the list for mussle. Unfortunately the waiter said french mussle is not in season and they may not supply that until around Sep. A disappointing night. Their bread used to be very crispy on the outside and soft inside, but somehow the bread wasn't as good as before, still crewy though but not crispy at all. Their bread used to be very crispy on the outside and soft inside, but somehow the bread wasn't as good as before, still crewy though but not crispy at all. They even stopped offering that roll with the B character on top. Good that they still served it warm together with high quality butter.

After the waiter heard our disappointment about mussle, he offered complimentary Cream of Mushroom soup served in a small cup, full favour of mushroom, very creamy and the thickness is just right. But it was served a bit too hot, that could be due to the type of serving bowl though.

Ordered the Linguine with Lobster, it's a pretty light dish, very generous in the lobster, their kind of linguine is bit finer than the general linguine, pretty good though. It would be even better if they can make it al dente, but it is probably not what they pursue in a French Restaurant.

Also tried the Duck meat ball stuffed with Foie Gras, the presentation was bit plain, lacking the green touch as everything was in dark brown including the carnish. The meat ball was like a big snow ball as big as a female fist in the centre served with a round carrot that has been soaked in red wine. Can't quite taste the Foie Gras eventhough it was cut into small dice size. Could feel Foie Gras texture but the taste was overwhelmed by the gamy favour of the duck meat. It's probably the most gamy duck dish I have ever eaten. It's a waste to have the Foie Gras stuffed. Believe Foie Gras always tastes the best when pan fried, good combination of crispiness and softness. Another disppointment is balsalmic vinegar reduction served with it that both the vinegar and the meat ball were too strong, lacking something to lighten the taste.

Had the Iced Chocolate, very strong chocolate favour, not too sweet, well balanced with the sweetened whip cream on top. Yummy!

Believe I will only go back again when the french mussle season comes in.

I tried to reserve a table for 7 for lunch, having phoned in 4 days in advance. However, apparently this place needs business so much that it requires a $500 deposit for lunch bookings of 6 people and above. I have never heard of such nonsense from any self-respecting restaurant in Central - if you are doing well, you would already have people waiting in line at lunch hour, and if not, then I suppose the restaurant is not worth a deposit anyway. 7 people is not a big party, and restaurants shouldn't trouble guests to walk over and hand them cash unless its Valentines or Christmas. Anyway, I decided I wouldn't have any of it, a booked 2 separate tables to be put adjacently.

So despite this little hitch, I was very much looking forward to lunch. Walking in, the restaurant was gorgeous, I'll give them that. However, it went downhill from there.

First for water. "Do you normally drink still or sparkling?" I drink ice water normally, thanks. Fine, that can be interpreted to mean still or sparkling with ice, but what it really means is "tap" as you would say in the UK or elsewhere, but nobody really does tap in Hong Kong. Anyway, what I ended up with was still with NO ice. This is a major pet peeve of mine. I do not like to be "still or sparklinged" and deceived into drinking water that I did not order. I understand this is what high end restaurants like to do, but all other places worth their salt, like Conrad, 8 ½, Amber, etc will not force water upon you once you've indicated your preference.

The menu was unimaginative and overpriced. 276 for a mushroom soup and a ham and salmon pasta. 328 for the same starter/soup and a filet. Starbucks does the mushroom soup better than they do. The steak, while perfectly tender and not overcooked, totally lacked juice and flavour. There was no dessert included. They also got my drink order wrong. To be fair I would give the food a 3/5, but it is definitely not worth the price. You could eat at H One next door for that price, and their food is much better. Another alternative is Steik in K11 – 228 or so for their much better dry-aged steak. Yum.

So the bill finally comes to $380 for mediocre food, poor service and incredible attitude in a beautiful environment. Worth it? Your call.

這是一篇不太需要文字的介紹,因在這間餐廳,品牌與意念多於一切。一進去這個屬於agnes b. 的角落,衣服、咖啡甜品、餐廳、花店都在這裡,全被佈置成一間位於法國南部鄉間的獨立屋,有日光有露台,露台上你可曬著陽光享受咖啡與巧克力,傍邊種了很多顏色浪漫的鮮花,從陽台看出去是你的私人溫室。走進屋內呢?是一個寬敞但陽光不猛的廚房,放了小餐枱及椅子,還可走兩級樓梯,踏出去另一邊的露台。穿過廚房當然是一個陽光充沛又掛滿鏡子的客人餐室。侍者遞來餐牌,全是法語和英語,都是一些很fancy的菜式,如油封鴨腿,或荷蘭奶飼牛腰肉,或燒牛橫隔膜下的那塊肉。但味道就如沒內涵的美女,只要用看的就好了,交談之後只會興趣缺缺,心中空虛。所以以下只管看相便可以了。來侍之僕一臉驕傲,驕傲與自信有別,但反而很合法國情懷,雖現在的法國人都放下自負了,也不再只說法語而說英語。不知道這滿口英語之僕又懂多少法語,但我認為在中國人的社會,餐牌上放中文較為方便恰當。令我留下美好味覺印象的只有兩樣東西,都是在沒預期的地方。一是另一位謙虛且笑容滿面的侍者 complimentary 送給我們的迷你蝴蝶餅,甜度與鬆脆度都令人滿意。二是外觀像

令我留下美好味覺印象的只有兩樣東西,都是在沒預期的地方。一是另一位謙虛且笑容滿面的侍者 complimentary 送給我們的迷你蝴蝶餅,甜度與鬆脆度都令人滿意。二是外觀像一剛在泥裡挖出來、骯髒薯仔般的餐飽,撕開軟熟,更有一些鮮綠色的仁籽及紅莓,惜所有平平無奇的菜式都拍了好照片,唯這個吃了才知是好東西。現在這世界,什麼都是有相片才是事實,是次希望我的誠信可用。

看來他們的patisserie比餐做得好,如下次只想喝一杯咖啡一塊餅,不仿幻想你正在你在法國南部,你的私人廚房中,看一本書身發黃有著古舊書香的讀本,可以是中文的。

We arrived sharply at 6:30pm but there were already a few tables of customers having dinner. Right upon our arrival, our server immediately introduced their monthly special, which they were promoting the red mediterranean shrimp and different dishes made with tomato.
French onion Soup (Grade: 3/5)
This 'version' of the french onion soup was probably from a very traditional recipe. Super heavy flavour of beef stock with cheese topping was especially good for our stomach on this cool night.
Tomato salad with goat cheese (Grade: 3/5)
This dish was very nicely presented as layers of tomato, goat cheese and vegetables were stacked together like a sandwich. Full marks for presentation but average marks for taste.
Red mediterranean shrimp wrapped scallops (Grade: 2/5)
It was supposed to be the highlight of the night but did not turn out the way it should. Three different types of shrimps were used in this dish, normal prawns, red mediterranean shrimp and scampi. Honestly, the scallops did taste better than any of the three.
After we finished our main courses, our server came to check on us. She specifically asked if I felt the red mediterranean shrimp tasted best but I frankly told her that I could not taste the difference.
Roasted quail with fig (Grade: 2.5/5)
Quail and fig were a surprisingly good combination but that's about all we could praise about this dish. The texture of the quail gave us the impression that it's been braised rather than roasted. It lacked the crispiness on the outside, which was very disappointing. For the same dish, restaurants such as L'Atelier de Joel Robuchon, Domani and Cafe gray Deluxe could have offered so much more.
Despite giving very low marks for their food, we did enjoy the atmosphere of this restaurant very much. Yes, we were a bit crammed but the nice decor gave us a glimpse of life in Europe with their lovely little restaurants. Just a small advice here, if you ever decide to visit this place, you would be much better off ordering something less sophisticated such as steamed mussels or beef.

話說之前訂了檯在 IFC 的那間 agnes b 吃 brunch一直要等到今天才有位子可以坐當時訂位的時候還在想到底這間餐廳賣的是什麼葫蘆竟然要一個顧客等三個禮拜才能吃到今天去了終於可以去開飯餐廳裝潢並非頂級奢華但利用餐廳透光的位置截取自然光在開放的空間中牌幾張小桌子讓只是要喝咖啡的人享受開放式的餐飲空間至於指明了要吃早午餐的人則是坐在裡頭的房間房間走優雅溫馨的書房設計路線讓顧客在大書櫃下舒適的吃飯 早午餐採半自助式主餐要點的前菜與甜點就敬請自取附贈果汁主餐的部分分兩款一款是用蛋為主打的餐點另一款則是肉類為主前菜部份的選擇其實並不是很多有一些基本的東西立如風乾火腿及密瓜還有生蠔與小蜇蝦其他的力如鵝肝醬還有煙燻鮭魚選擇不多但勝在東西新鮮與精緻主餐選了香煎鱈魚與酸奶油配半生熟蛋鱈魚其實煎得挺出色的魚肉鮮嫩不乾澀搭配酸酸甜甜的醬汁一起送入口還會有陣陣香料味殘留在唇齒之間大概是味道下的太重了吧甜品部份就是標準的水果與蛋糕agnes b 的蛋糕一向甚有口碑還有我最喜歡吃的小杏餅 一餐下來算是很滿足的今天如果不是故意要減少食量應該還可以吃多幾塊小杏餅

竟然要一個顧客等三個禮拜才能吃到

今天去了終於可以去開飯

餐廳裝潢並非頂級奢華

但利用餐廳透光的位置截取自然光

在開放的空間中牌幾張小桌子

讓只是要喝咖啡的人享受開放式的餐飲空間

至於指明了要吃早午餐的人則是坐在裡頭的房間

房間走優雅溫馨的書房設計路線

讓顧客在大書櫃下舒適的吃飯

早午餐採半自助式

主餐要點的

前菜與甜點就敬請自取

附贈果汁

主餐的部分分兩款

一款是用蛋為主打的餐點

另一款則是肉類為主

前菜部份的選擇其實並不是很多

有一些基本的東西立如風乾火腿及密瓜還有生蠔與小蜇蝦

其他的力如鵝肝醬還有煙燻鮭魚

選擇不多但勝在東西新鮮與精緻

主餐選了香煎鱈魚與酸奶油配半生熟蛋

鱈魚其實煎得挺出色的

魚肉鮮嫩不乾澀

搭配酸酸甜甜的醬汁一起送入口

還會有陣陣香料味殘留在唇齒之間

大概是味道下的太重了吧

甜品部份就是標準的水果與蛋糕

agnes b 的蛋糕一向甚有口碑

還有我最喜歡吃的小杏餅

一餐下來算是很滿足的

今天如果不是故意要減少食量

應該還可以吃多幾塊小杏餅

This is not the first time I visited this place, but first time alone....sitting by the windows and can see my friends work place as well, Jardine house, waving


Tea set was rather heavy and I ordered a cake called Chloe, pretty name and tea of casablanca. Spent an hour resting there with not many people, enjoy the quietness a while in busy Central was indeed a good feeling. Be frank, I'm not a dessert fan so what I buy there is the comfortable feeling rather than the food. For sure, the quality there is not bad. If you feel tired and have an hour to chill out in Central, it's a good choice.

每個月都由啲阿GER輪流買蛋糕幫個TEAM啲同事慶祝生日,真係好,每個月都有靚蛋糕食,仲每個都一定係貴嘢! 而且因為人多,每次都一定有兩款! 嘩! 多謝晒! 兩款都唔知咩名,咁等我自己按個名啦Tiramisu Cake上層有燋糖令個蛋糕睇落好似雲石咁,外型討好。下層一層又一層的cream cheese and coffee cake,每層薄薄的手工精細,味度適中但咖啡酒味不足。餅底是一整片的脆餅,但略兼硬咗小小同無咩味!Triple Chocolate Cake硬,切到手都軟埋! 因為下層有一整片近0.5cm厚嘅朱古力,凍咗之後更加硬! 成個都係朱古力,中間有raspberry果醬,但都唔夠D朱古力搶,好濃好漏,唔鐘意。

上層有燋糖令個蛋糕睇落好似雲石咁,外型討好。下層一層又一層的cream cheese and coffee cake,每層薄薄的手工精細,味度適中但咖啡酒味不足。餅底是一整片的脆餅,但略兼硬咗小小同無咩味!

硬,切到手都軟埋! 因為下層有一整片近0.5cm厚嘅朱古力,凍咗之後更加硬! 成個都係朱古力,中間有raspberry果醬,但都唔夠D朱古力搶,好濃好漏,唔鐘意。

It was a wonderful night and environment for the dinner.The food was nice, especially the mussels. (Should have taken the 200g, full in half way.)Overall, it worths for the food with someone that you could have a little chat with. It was just wonderful.Just the waiters started losing their patience when we were just the only people left in the restaurant. They even shut down the air-con, and seem forcing us to leave the place. which was disappointing.

The salad of the day (crab meat salad) was refreshing. Well dressed and not too heavy.The presentation of the dishes are all very beautiful. All the side dishes are also of decent portion and delicious.I have to say their service is pretty good. There was miss-communication and something came in that wasn't what we ordered but they just cancelled it for me, no black face or any hesitation or questions. The desserts were alright. The desserts were alright. I am not sure if the mini pastry warrants the prices. The Chloe was only OK, but didn't taste too fresh.

The setting is comfortable, can't really hear the other tables and the view's not bad. Overall a decent experience.

(I had coffee outside before, decaf latte, delicious!)

昨晚去完Agnes b Boutique 掃貨,想起有報導說Agnes b 餐廳換了大廚,水準下降了,不順氣,便要試一試。人很多,但不用等位。和朋友點了我們一向愛的主菜青口,本來還想點Angus 牛扒,以前吃過都很喜歡的,忽然看到Chef's Recommendation 有Lamb Shoulder,說是燜了seven hours的,試一試無妨。青口保持水準,但羊肉就不太合口胃,肉質太「淋」了,總之...似啊媽的煲湯豬肉。還有就是連伴碟的美感都沒有,只在羊肉底下墊了薯仔,再淋上獻汁就是了。唉!此外,從前在Agnes b用餐會有待應詳細解釋Menu,當日廚師推介是甚麼,酒方面有甚麼介紹...等等,幾乎都欠奉了,說是客人太多吧,這不是個藉口。所以我們連dessert,coffee,Tea都不要,匆匆走了。

同男友兩週年,,男友咁岩個日晚上有要事所以我決定揀間得獎食肆食LUNCH慶祝入去既時候D WAITER好有禮貌,,幾好加上冇咩人,,可以同男友好好享受另外,,我過左last order先記得冇叫到我倆最中意食既鵝肝,,即刻叫番都冇問題,,好好服務講番食物 同男友一人一個餐 2個都叫左daily soup 好好飲,, 之後男友要 angus beef 我就要 chicken breast ,,chicken breast 鞋左D,,但個angus就好好味,,少少筋都冇,,5成熟,,冇煮得過火都唔係生,,正!!甜品真係要試chloe 好好食,,不過都要睇睇佢果日有冇呢個option,,因為應該唔係日日有不過最唔好係隔2張枱個男人唔知做咩係咁望住我地,,搞到我好唔自在BTW,,係食得好開心既一餐2nd anniversary lunch,,
