The girlfriend & I were heading home after getting drinks at The Wanch when we came upon Angel’s. I thought let’s give this place a try & see if it is just as good as the Pinoy food in the SF Bay. We got the porksilog & 2 bbq pork skewers. Conclusion: Angel’s measure up. Did not disappoint.

菲律賓串燒,少見又少食,卻原來在菲律賓這麼熱門的!今次挑戰的就有豬肉串以及大腸串。在這菲律賓豬肉燒烤中,豬肉薄薄切片,先經醃製,串在竹棍上來燒烤。燒得剛剛好!燒好的豬肉片顏色潤澤,醬香四溢;肉片脂分有肥有瘦,吃下竟然做到肥而不膩、瘦而不乾,一句到尾,就是爽!正!到底菲式的串燒豬大腸跟港式的有位何區別呢?較之港式的,菲律賓串燒豬大腸應該是用嫩烤的煮法製作,口感比較軟身。香噴噴沒有大腸臭,很肥是滿口的脂香,用上的醬料跟港式的是兩回事,鹹中帶甜,蠻好吃的。完全能夠滿足到對串燒的渴求和思念!
