Previously bought their dried age steak home and turned out to be really great. So this time we came for dine-in. Immersed in a true Florentine atmosphere exactly like what we had in Florence a few times, the steak also did not disappoint, the meaty flavour different from Japanese beef which is more marbled, this gives you the true beef taste and still tender in the centre. Actually all the handmade pasta not to be missed too, Al dente definitely and love the Italian way of seasoning.

Wanna try this restaurant for a long time, it is under Black Sheep Group. Happy and satisfied that the food didn’t disappoint us😊The food is really delicious, we ordered the T-bone steak, broccolini and the salad that the staff recommended, ended with the yumyum tirammisu.Steak is the highlight and it is charcoal grilled and dry aged. It is tender, juicy and crispy outside😋i will definitely go again soon❤️

Heard good things about this restaurant and finally managed to get a reservation last night. The striploin is possibly the best steak I've ever had, cooked to perfection. Am already planning my next visit!

After placing our orders, the staff served us some welcome snacks. Apart from the bread which got some sausage pieces of nice savory flavors, the assorted fresh vegetable sticks with almond dipping sauce were certainly a healthy, yet tasty, starter.

Listening to the recommendations from the staff, we decided to start with Panzanella ($198). The salad was prepared from different types of tomato, of different shades of red and color, and together with cucumber and vinaigrette dressings, the fresh and juicy tomatoes with its natural acidity and sweetness, plus the vinegar, was an appetizing salad. Simple but it meant there was nowhere to hide if the ingredients were not good.

Another starter we shared was Prosciutto e Melon ($198). With many slices of sweet and juicy melon underneath two large pieces of sliced prosciutto ham, it was always a perfect companion of the two, and this dish recreated that harmony with the sweetness mixing well with the salty and savory of the ham. Again, a simple dish, but one dish I would highly recommend especially if you like ham.

Following was pasta, Pici ($228) was hand-rolled pasta with cavolo nero, pistachio and pecorino. The pasta was fantastic in texture, with a great bite and chewiness, flavorful with the pesto sauce. Cavolo nero is a sort of kale from Tuscany and together with the toasted pistachio to give a bit of nutty notes, and the shaved pecorino cheese, it was another apparently simple yet tasty dish to highlight the ingredients and techniques of the chef.

Coming to the main course we had Controfiletto con L’Osso ($718). The 450g aged striploin was grilled to medium as per our preference, with the outside crisp while the inside was a beautiful pink. The beef was juicy and rich in taste. I liked the staff advising us to order this one instead, as the larger cut would simply be too much for us. For those who like steak it was worth trying out.

On dessert, the staff brought out a tray displaying three cakes and we ended up choosing Tiramisu ($118). The slice was sufficient to be shared among us, and the taste was good, with the mascarpone creamy, the rich chocolate and cake all in harmony. A happy completion for our meal. 

The bill was $1680 which was very reasonable. Service was also very good, with the staff attentive and friendly. I could not try their wide range of chianti which was a pity and I would be returning to sample their wines next time.

Shows you the staff here are really working hard to please their customers ! They served vegetable crudités just like in Italy!The Parma ham cutter looks super authentic as well.

Food wise, handmade pasta with meat sauce was super yummy. The Bistecca alla Fiorentina was the highlight ! OK, the steak was not from Italy, it’s from the US. It was good but not so good that I would go back again ….

Overall, it was a nice dinner!

I have bookmarked this place for a long time, finally got a chance to try as they open till midnight! Another resto from blacksheep restaurants ✅This T-bone steak was so tender and succulent, full of flavour, remind me of the ones I tried in Florence😋 However, I think the pasta were just average, not as good as what I would I expect from a blacksheep group, not too memorable. Also, a bit disappointed by the steak tartare, it was a bit dry and lack of flavours, no need to order this. The desserts

The desserts were superb though.

Overall, I would still recommend this place, for their authentic food and vibrant ambience.

見份量不算大,再加一道前菜。又是pecorino。這次是加埋脆麵包在下面,被焗溶的芝士完全蓋住。焗完的芝士跟剛才的完全兩個味道,比起剛才那個溫柔含蓄,這個香味膨湃得多。

又是pecorino,但煮完是另一種味。芝士味很重。配開心果幾特別。意大利粉的煙韌度很好,很喜歡那嚼勁。不過我覺得意粉未咀嚼完而醬汁已完全吞光,到最後那幾下有點淡和乾。老公說沒有此感覺。

都幾滿意,於是再加個pasta。店員介紹很多人點的tagliatelle,配white truffle。隔離枱的食客就很興奮地看著店員刨truffle。個人對吃truffle不大興趣,聞下就好,看完隔離枱的truffle就夠了,吃別的。

Pecorino again. 配黑椒,又是另一番風味。芝士沒pici般重味,再加點黑椒辣辣的刺激,個人較喜歡這個。又是煙煙韌韌,芝士和黑椒配合得天衣無縫。吃完一粒又一粒,停不下來。

終於來到牛扒。自從大肚後吃少了牛。BB出世後皮膚勁差,差到要看醫生搽藥膏,更是不敢再吃,雖然西醫說皮膚差跟牛肉沒有關係。見到這牛又實在忍不住口。常叫outside burnt,都貨不對版。這個才是真正的outside burnt。

入口有微微脆,燒過的牛充斥整個口。然後是medium rare的軟嫩口感。肉汁、肉香、油脂融在一起,難以抗拒。

甜品前,老公點了杯gin & tonic。沒有試店員介紹的digestif。

店員捧著大大個銀盤,為我們介紹甜品。有三款,tiramisu, chocolate ricotta cake 和pavlova。雖然pavlova真的好吃,但我實在太喜歡tiramisu,見到它看著來夠濕夠腍而不會變成漿的質地,實在想試。

以為只是插枝蠟燭,沒想到到四個店員圍著我們吹意大利文的生日歌。其實我聽不明白,應該是意大利吧。

Tiramisu做得很好。咖啡把lady finger浸得全濕,又不至於濕到漏。mascarpone又滑又香,有少少蛋黃味。

十分滿意的一餐,飽到爆。點了好幾款有pecorino的菜色,卻全都不同味道,各有特色。
服務又好。店員有禮又友善。

Since we can’t go to Italy this year, we decided to try the bistecca a la Florentina steak at this restaurant - “食咗當去咗”. Heard a lot of good things abt this restaurant so had high expectations. We ordered the 1kg USDA Tbone, medium rare. When it arrived, I took a bite with anticipation and nearly spat it out in confusion and alarm. I said as much to our server and he proudly confirmed that this marinade was invented by their chef.

與家人一行4人來鋸扒. T bone二人餐唔錯,但扒本身唔算好靚。另一款單人餐rib eye尤其一般. dry age 同一價位有更好的選擇。酒選擇尚算多,chianti 酒有幾隻一般餐廳難搵到. 不愧叫呢個名. 叫左兩個甜品,tiramisu 中規中矩. 另一個橙味朱克力蛋糕驚喜多的. 比例做得唔錯.

上網預約咗呢一間暫時只會做星期五六日的意大利牛扒餐廳,入到去感覺裝修舒服、一間好親切嘅二式風情貼地酒館風格。餐前開胃小食係送㗎,但也不是草草了事,值得一讚頭盤: Grill Cheese Toast , 一個穩打穩扎嘅頭盤不會過分好食,也不會不好食,只要你係芝士紅就會覺得冇問題主菜 : 佛羅倫斯牛扒二人分: 一食我即刻諗起伙頭智多星嘅味皇,好想大嗌「好好味呀」,牛扒外脆內軟、肉汁十足, 肉味香濃, 絕對唔會一係好肥好油只有溶化的感覺、亦唔會有肉質好柴好銀只有肉味的感覺,呢塊牛扒絕對係兩者之間,食緊真係有一種身在佛羅倫斯食佛羅倫斯牛扒的感覺,我相信除咗牛扒本身靚之餘亦都需要有一個好靚嘅爐先可以營造到呢個效果,滿分甜品: Tiramisu 一樣穩打穩扎合格水準之作服務親切店員也會盡量為你解釋清楚,如果女孩子來的話必須要帶太陽眼鏡因為入邊啲意大利籍侍應都好靚仔同好大隻,只有帶墨鏡先可以放題昅仔

Everything is perfect with Associazione Chianti. Incredibly friendly and attentive service, steak to die for, and a superb wine list. The decor is refined but homey, rustic and unpretentious. Miguel is the absolute best, and the rest of the staff are some of the best servers you’ll find in Hong Kong. It is, hands down, the best Italian restaurant I’ve been to in Hong Kong, and I’ve been to them all.

Tried this restaurant after a long wait.Things to know:1) 2 servings 1 around 7-9pm and 9pm till late2) corkage is 500 3) this restaurant menu is designed for sharing.This restaurant belongs to black sheep, so expectations are set high.We ordered an Appy and a pasta but the main highlight is definitely their dry aged steak.At this price I know you have options such as Mortons,etc however combined with the deco / service and vibe it’s a nice alternative to traditional US style steak houses.Highly

This restaurant belongs to black sheep, so expectations are set high.

We ordered an Appy and a pasta but the main highlight is definitely their dry aged steak.

At this price I know you have options such as Mortons,etc however combined with the deco / service and vibe it’s a nice alternative to traditional US style steak houses.

Highly recommend to try but this price point in wanchai mat be high for some.
