come here yesterday for dinner, ordered
1) strawberry milkshake X 2
- put in the very classic style "ice red bean soup" glass. it's very full, on top with a patch of cream. next to the it, is a piece of oreo cookies
- very rich, smooth and thick texture, it proves with rich milk content. stated in the magazine, it should be very fresh strawberry flavor, but i don't think so. in the other way round, i feel the taste a bit artificial. guess mainly coming from the strawberry ice-cream. may be the glass has only been blended with little fresh strawberry
- but the glass a bit too sweet, perhaps this is the original amercian style, other than that, not bad~~
2) classic hot dog
- together with the hot dog, you'll have relish, pickles (all in dices), tomato
- bread is very soft. perhaps too soft, after adding in the ketchup, the "ridge" of the bread breaks. therefore the whole "finishing" process is quite messy and embarassing.
- with the dish, comes with the fries and colesaw salad. the fries are little cripsy but very soft inside, quite gd
3) grill ham and cheese sandwich
- the white bread grill with slightly burnt, but doesn't make it dry. the bread is just little crunchy
- the portion of the ham is very very generous. the folding of the ham is very thick actually, very tasty (a bit salty to me)
- cheese isn't the common cheddar cheese, but actually i can't tell the cheese type. it's light creamy white color and in melted form
- the whole sandwich is really a very nice piece if not that salty
- all the waitors are very nice. after putting down the dish, he'll ask if there's still anything he need to help
- other than food, i like the music - ballad & pop music, but no rock and roll (of course, american singers) playing from the jukebox.
- across the whole meal, the corrs, bon jovi, maroon 5 r with me
- see many dishes comes to serve the bars and pub nearby
