不是不吃肉,只是年紀漸大,不像二十出頭時,餐餐都必須要有一大塊的雞排或炸豬排。由於我不吃牛肉,因此絕少上扒屋,香港也甚少類似台灣在路邊賣炸雞排的攤子,因此偶爾嘴饞,想要大口大口咬著肉時,便會約三五好友一起到海邊燒烤。燒烤費時且路程遠,大口咬下肉汁四溢的漢堡便成為想吃肉時的最佳選擇。這是第三次來到Burger Republic了,店內相當乾淨、明亮,開放式的廚房可以看清楚大廚烤著漢堡肉令人用餐更感到放心。當Chicken Mexicana一端上桌時,香味立刻刺激我在腦海搜索前兩次的回憶,這次多了更濃烈的香料味,拿起約莫12公分高的大大漢堡一口咬下,雞肉混合著醬汁立刻於嘴中溶化四溢,與濃烈的香料構成極佳搭配。一個60元的漢堡加一成服務費對我而言決不便宜,若要加上炸薯條或沙拉還得再掏出23元,我老是覺得是有點貴。所幸每次離開Burger Republic都會獲得滿足的幸福感,這次也不例外。下次再來,不知道還會不會有更上一層樓的體驗呢?

見到門口張 Burger Poster,覺得幾吸引,仲加$1有 salad 同 drink,都OK喎,入嚟試吓先。座位都幾舒服,我 order咗MO ($64) ,而我個 friend就要 sunshine($60),我哋諗住加$1有 salad 同 drink,點知要喺Mon & Tue 先有呢個優惠,我哋加咗 $23有fries + drink, 單 order 氣水要$14。MO - 好大個飽,有生菜、蕃茄、洋葱、Cheese、mushroom,當然仲有牛肉漢寶啦,生菜和蕃茄都好新鮮,Mushroom都幾香,牛肉十分 juicy,又有牛肉味。Sunshine - 基本上同MO差不多,但就用 Pineapple 代替 Mushroom,朋友話好味,塊 Pineapple 甜甜酸酸,冇咁"漏",yummy。Fries 又大條又脆,好味呀。價錢少少貴,下次都喺 Mon or Tue 先嚟食啦。

H考試後專程坐電車到這裡試H&K都喜愛吃的BURGERH 點 mushroom burger ==> good taste, soft bread, juicy meat, lot of mushroomK 點 cheese burger ==> good taste總括來說食物質素可以接受,但並不算突出,但不明為何這樣的快餐點也要加一服務費!日後想吃BURGER時,以差不多的價錢,H&K會有更好的選擇啦!

上星期五同同事黎呢度食LUNCH。同事話LUNCH 時間好FULL﹐所以之前打電話BOOK左位。12:45去到﹐仲有空位﹐不過大部份都已經RESERVED 左。地方雖然吾大﹐但都幾乾淨﹐卡位坐得好舒服。我要左其中一個MENU上推薦的 MEXCIANA CHICKEN﹐朋友同我一樣。加$28就可以跟薯條/沙律同汽水。我地一個跟薯條﹐一個跟沙律﹐仲可以叫餐廳幫我地分埋。之前係OPENRICE上面見到食評﹐都知道會幾大碟﹐食物黎到比想象中更加大。個包入面個AVACADO 醬汁好好味道﹐舊雞好滑﹐菜亦好新鮮﹐果然係一分價錢一分貨﹐$60食物個包都算值得。伴菜既沙律新鮮﹐個汁都係自己整﹐好味!! 薯條都有水準﹐一D都吾會油膩。同事加錢要左杯BAILEY MILKSHAKE﹐話吾錯。下次黎我會想試下個"MO" (MUSHROOM BURGER)! 賣單每人$100 左右﹐雖然貴左D﹐但係食物有水準﹐不枉此行!

唔知幾時開始burger個size係越黎越大個d由老麥的個種size, 到而家個size要用刀叉食, 呢個轉變都真係幾大下今次就去了造間到尋食一番去到可能仍然早, 6:30, 條街無咩人的睇過晒成條街有咩食先入黎呢間食 (歌賦街既restaurants其實都唔錯的)入到去想坐window seat, 不過有人reserved, 咁就是但坐一到了Food that orderedMO, All Day Brekkie , Mozzarella Gravy Chips, vanilla milkshake, strawberry milkshakeBurgersthe bugers had been baked a bit, that's why the surface was a bit crispy but soft inside, very nicethe meat...well, i supposed it will be juicy, but not, even worse is, no juice at all. it happened on both burgers. very badBasically, if the meat isn't good, the burger is not good either. The ChipsWhen it came on the table, we could tell that it was totally overcook by the colour. but the good thing is the cheese and gravy did help to increase the flavour.Milkshake (I ordered banana milkshake, but the outcome was vanilla milkshake)Both milkshakes were very thick, but smooth. And they tasted like the Diary Farm's ice-cream flavour.Overall is in averageof course the cook can improve on how to handle the meat.Place is nice, very relax decoration.Service was not bad, except the wrong milkshake order.
