It's a v. special place in HK.
The place for originally owned by the prev. gov't, it was a shelter to protect people from flight attack, so besides the glass house you can see from outside, the rest of the restaurant is like a cave.
The decoration is great, inside the glass house, the decoration is like a open kitchen, white in tone. A lot of glasses hanging at the racks, some flowers around different corners.
Then inside "the cave" long tables, and there is a inner room, more glasses and then an actual wine cellar.
We have all kinds of drinks being served, then red and white wine of course.
Food. Marina spaghetti -- yeah, some seafood, but not too imporessed, the spegehtti was under cooked. Chicken with some unknown source, not too impressed either. Steak was tender, but it is served in small chunks. Homemade luncheon meat, not expected but it is there, tasted ok. Dessert, cookies, tiramisu... lower than the qualities of some good bakeries outside.
So, if your guest like env, env and env, well, this place would surely impress her/him. I have no idea if they can make dinner dishes much better.
It's still a dinning experience, so, depends on what you are looking for.
Overall the food of the buffet here is ok, not too impressive.
