這家餐廳原在中環和記大廈地下,地方頗大,定食很正宗,後來搬到這裡,攪起西日 fusion,和原先格調很不一樣。現在好像只有兩夫婦經營,丈夫是廚師,妻子是侍應。主餐牌,set lunch 約 100 多元,以日本人師傅來說算抵食了。附上的麥茶麥味好濃。我點了咖哩豬肉定食,包沙律、三款前菜,湯及主食。沙律蔭上日式沙律汁,甜甜酸酸的,菜有兩三款,均很新鮮。其中一款前菜是青瓜,脆脆的,咬下去很清新,另一款紅色的我不知是什麼,但一樣是脆脆酸酸的。最後一款是黑色的,原以為有點苦,但吃下去原來是超甜的。咖哩汁是日式,完全不辣,且帶有甜味。豬肉煮得好'林'身,飯用日本米煮,圓圓飽滿的非常美味。最後還有一杯咖啡,咖啡本身很苦澀,但隨送的奶超香滑,非常好飲!環顧整個餐廳都是日本人,像是到了日本的感覺。 繼續閱讀

Friend and I had satisfying lunch at Hals in CWB last Thursday. Booked beforehand & were shown to a table immediately on arrival, no need to wait around as was common in Hals' Hutchison House days. Restaurant not v busy so atmosphere was peaceful & quiet, nice to be able to chat without raising our voices. 5 minutes walk from CWB MTR, don't be put off by it being on Tang Lung Street. Numerous sets to choose from. Friend enjoyed her curry pork chop set; decent sized crispy juicy pork chop in generous helping of yummy curry sauce w rice. My teriyaki hamburger set was good - moist meat patty in a nicely flavoured sauce. Sets came w pickles, a fresh salad, rice & coffee. Coffee was very very nice! Service was attentive with frequent refills of tea. Each set was $120. One negative is that the open kitchen does leave you bit smelly, perhaps one can ask for a table further away from the kitchen. 12點去到餐廳,除了我們,有另外一台日本OL女士們。唔需要等位。漢堡扒的豉油酸酸的,好開胃!溫泉蛋煮半熟,蛋黃剛剛熟,蛋白像布丁一樣-贊!聽說這間餐廳是真正的日本人開的!可以放心吃原汁原味的日本料理。 繼續閱讀

當煩惱緊去邊度同好友慶祝生日之際,得到日本同事介紹呢間新開嘅和風洋食餐廳,所以就BOOK黎試下新野。(註:後來先知原來HAL'S舊舖係中環,聽我日本朋友講早幾年有次木村拓哉黎香港做野時幫襯過舊中環店架~) 餐廳唔係好大,大約一半滿,大部份都係衣著斯文嘅日本人。環境唔嘈,岩晒我地人少少傾下計食下飯。而且我好鍾意佢個OPEN KITCHEN,因為可以順便欣賞下大廚煮野過程~由於係和風洋食,所以餐牌除左有日式刺身,天婦羅之外,亦有好多FUSION菜。我地心多多想試多幾樣,所以無叫SET,4個人叫A LA CART share食。溫泉蛋沙律 牛油果拌八爪魚日式炸豆腐刺身拼盤(細)- 雖然只係叫左細拼盤,不過份量都好足,仲有有海胆添~ 大根鵝肝(大根=蘿蔔)-極力推介呢個fusion dish** 蘿蔔吸收晒鵝肝嘅精華,配上一個好香好好味嘅汁(甜甜地,我估當中有甜面豉)呢個好味到我地encore再叫一份!PIZZA風燒茄子﹣ 幾得意,未試過咁食茄子,原來配PIZZA醬同芝士一齊燒都幾好食~ 薄燒牛肉﹣ 太心急食左先知唔記得影相當日的Chef's Special~左邊嘅炸物係Croquette,裡面有cream同海鮮配料;右面係bacon包住帶子。兩款都好香口,幾好食~ 炖牛肉(beef stew)﹣ 另一推介** 個汁好濃郁好有層次,我諗要用好多好多材料再"拗"好耐先有呢個味道!炖到好冧嘅牛肉,配菜嘅薯仔同紅蘿蔔全部都係入口即溶,超正!!淨係呢個可以餸到好多碗白飯!日式奄列飯﹣當然我地無叫白飯,而係點左呢個奄列飯,同樣嘅濃汁配上奄列同雞肉茄汁飯,都好好味! Dessert Platter~很喜歡因為一次過可以滿足幾個願望。個人特別鐘意Apple Pie及Chocolate cake - Apple Pie係新鮮剛焗好的,而Chocolate cake加入了橙酒,是我很喜歡的味道~其實好多大餐廳嘅大廚都已經好少親自落手落腳煮,所以好喜歡呢種類似Private Kitchen嘅樓上餐廳,因為可以感受到大廚嘅誠意同真功夫。喺呢度真係成晚睇住日本大廚一個人表演,由頭煮到尾,讚!雖然得佢一個人,好彩上菜速度都算OK,無話要等好耐~ 我地四個人都好滿意呢餐充滿誠意嘅晚飯,希望佢地keep住,下次再黎嘅時候仍然有呢個水準啦~ 繼續閱讀
