High street has been famous for its high quality of western food. And this Jack's pizzeria is one of my favourite pizza shops around the corner, the set lunches are starting from $60 with a can of coke, if you're a student you can even enjoy the student price of $50. I tried pepperoni pizza and my friend picked bbq spring chicken. My pizza was great, served hot with crispy texture, enough cheese and the bread wasnt as thick as I was eating toast. The BBQ spring chicken is coated with bbq sauce, the usa flavour you may like, but i dont like it so much. Anyways, it's a good choice for lunch if you wanna eat cheap.

I have been going to this restaurant often now. This is because of many factors. Firstly, the food which taste great and authentic italian. They have wide variety of pizzas, pastas, salads and snacks. I have been trying different stuff with my every visit. Also, the owner has become a friend within these few visits. He is a friendly guy with proper knowledge of italian food and is a good company when I go alone. The menu prices are affordable+worth and they have interesting happy hour ($35) and set dinners to make a great evening. Nice place to make some new friends as well.

The attitude of the chef is quite rude but the food is great. So I think is a good choice for students.

I am completely beside myself after what I just experienced. We came in on a Friday night, most tables were taken so they seated us at a table that wasn't set. It took about 10 minutes before anyone came to take our drinks order. We had to ask twice for a proper tablecloth like all other tables had, and even then they wanted to give us paper placemats instead. After 45 minutes of being the this restaurant we still hadn't been served and were getting agitated. One server had told us that our wings were ready but we didn't see them for another 10 minutes, and they weren't even prepared properly so they gave us the sauce and we had to do it ourselves. They also didn't give us any of the condiments (tabasco, salt, pepper) so we had to get up and get that ourselves as well. But this is the worst part, when we asked for the bill they added a 10% service charge which wasn't indicated anywhere on the menu. We told them that we would not pay a service charge that is not indicated on the menu, and a staff member actually started screaming at me, causing a scene with all patrons of the restaurant now staring at us, telling me that it's common sense and everywhere in HK has this. (NB: there are many great restaurants that do not charge a service charge, and all of the ones that do WRITE IT ON THEIR MENUS). My husband politely interjected that they can simply write it on the menu if they want to charge it and the man yelled at him "stop talking, I don't want to hear from you". After paying, I asked for the doggie bag that they had prepared and the women actually threw it at me. It goes without saying that we will not be returning to this restaurant.
