招牌菜
又到我嘅生日了,上年小公主帶我去了一間法蘭西餐廳,今年終於去了一間真係食French Cuisine嘅,佢地位於蘭桂坊嘅,之前行經見門面唔錯,因為下層係大門口,入去後要上一層樓梯至會去到餐廳,之前仲訂咗位添,點知去到先發覺得好少好少客,我地雖然係平日,但係夜晚七點幾都只係得一枱客食緊,加埋我地就兩枱咋。典型西餐廳設計,一邊係sofa,另一邊係櫈,杯同枱布都係襯到一絶..... 藍色,甚為講究。今晚咁高興,係我生日,難得唔使揸車,當然要叫支酒飲,都係叫咗我地兩個喜歡嘅Chardonnay。1. Robert Skalli Chardonnay France 05' (13oz) - 果香十足,配合今晚不太濃味嘅法國菜,最好不過。2. Assorted Bread - 好軟熟,一種硬麵包,一種軟麵包,兩種嘅裡面都係超軟熟,分分鐘可以話係好過酒店出品,唔知係佢地自己焗定係買手本事。3. Black Mussels - Poulette (Bacon, Vegetables, WhiteWine, Cream) - 佢有兩隻份量,可選當頭盤或主菜,不過我地就覺得頭盤嘅份量已經係人地主菜嘅份量,再望望之後嚟嘅一枱客,佢地叫嘅係主菜份量,真係大到不得了,我地嗰碟已經有差不多廿隻青口,佢地嗰碟都真係唔知點食得哂。而且青口好大隻,加上用白酒同埋大量煙肉,非常香甜,啲汁可以當湯咁飲哂佢。伴碟仲有薯條,唔通真係 french fries,法國佬果然係識炸薯條,金黃香脆,同麥叔叔嘅冇分別。4. Lobster Bisque finished with Brandy - 有龍蝦肉,有咬口,加埋落咗Brandy嘅龍蝦湯,又濃又香,最緊要都係煮完酒精揮發後,更見香濃。5. Caesar Salad with Prawns - 沙律醬稍為份量多咗些少,不過蔬菜新鮮,配料同蔬菜份量剛好。6. Duck Confit with Sauteed Potatoes, Lyeasse sausage, Madeira jus - 其中一道主菜出場,鴨嘅外皮煎得脆脆的,好香口,鴨肉仍然保持濕潤,再用火箭菜及薯茸舖底,精髓就喺個汁度,好creamy,好重奶味,香到不得了,同鴨肉配合得天衣無逢,食完包你齒甲留香。7. Seafood linguine tossed with prawns, clams, calamari & fresh fish pieces laced with mild garlic chili virgin oil & fine herbs - 份量唔講得少嘅意大利扁麵,加入大量香草同蒜頭嘅汁,雖然味濃但清新,海鮮嘅配料亦好似唔使錢咁,又新鮮又多品種又多份量,鮮蝦唔係用蝦仔,係用中蝦,又有帶子,又有巨型蜆,加埋魷魚同埋魚塊,意份煮到煙韌夾爽,以百幾蚊嘅價錢真係抵食到爛。8. Coupe Glacee De La Mer "Poached peach with raspberry coulis Vanilla ice cream with whipped cream roasted pistachio" - 侍應見我地未有打算揀邊款嘅時候,特地走埋嚟同我地介紹呢款甜品,雖然雲妮拿雪糕唔係咩特別貨式,但係最特別就係佢地用櫻桃汁浸過嘅桃,滋味真係非筆墨能形容,你真係要親口試過至感受到。Comments: 可以話係完美嘅一餐。雖然已經過咗幾個月至寫呢篇食評,但係我對呢餐嘅感覺仍然歷歷在目,記憶猶新,你可想而知呢餐真係唔講得少,係因為呢餐的而且確比到我感受到French Cuisine嘅魅力,廚師嘅功力真係非同範響。最後,地方係小公主揀嘅,多謝你帶給我難忘的一餐。

同個朋友去lunch, weekend, 上到去, 冇幾多人, 幾清靜. 冇叫set, 散叫咗龍蝦湯, 鵝肝,白酒煮藍貝同咖啡.龍蝦湯-- ok, 有濃郁蝦味, 不過稍為稀咗少少. 個人喜愛Press Room的龍蝦湯多一點.鵝肝-- 唔夠鮮! 有點點失望.白酒煮藍貝-- 汁是可以的, 藍貝算大隻, 但質地怪怪的. 如果你食過藍貝, 你知佢嘅質地新鮮時係好滑, 邊緣有點彈牙, 好鮮好味. 但唔知佢地嘅係品種唔同, 唔係時令, 定係唔新鮮, 汖過水定係煮過火, 質地實實的冇鮮味. 如果佢係以海洋做名, 以海鮮做主打, 呢味藍貝絕對唔合格.咖啡係即磨嘅, 份量較大, 苦味較重, 不過都香, 幾好.其實去lunch係想試試佢地ok 唔ok, 如果ok就會去試佢個海鮮湯. 去完發覺係好一般, 食物質素都係鍾意Press Room多d, 起碼人地個環境真係似法國嘅Brasserie多d....服務係好嘅, 幾細心, 要讚.環境ok,坐得好舒服. 不過入口只在荷里活道, LKF Tower的入口係封咗的.

" 98 Dollars for set lunch" in central .i will say not cheap but once a while to treat yourselve better is not bad .I went there before It was packed and busy in the lunch time but i went there last week the restaurant was not busy . They have more option in the set lunch menu and the price range between 88 to 198 . From sandwiches Burger set to seafood platter set and choice of 5 entree and 5 main corses 98 dollars . i was so surprise why it wasn't full . The enviroment is great and good for us to have a nice break away from ours hell(office ) . I had a seafood chower for starting and duck breast pasta as a main . The soup was very creamy and the taste was great . Main dish pasta is just perfectly cook with the blend with the duck breast .

四月十二‧晴兩個人吃飯,其中一個選了這間法國菜館,但另一人一心想吃漢堡包,一意孤行。誰不知,原本提議的那位,在三選四選下,卻又選了意大利飯,加上德啤及花旗啤,與及兩個沙律,不說店名,也不知道原來是日是吃的是法國菜館,幾運吉。要遷就我放工,結果是周五的九時來到,意外地發現,餐廳是連一半也坐不滿的,比起一道行來,雲咸街的幾間路旁啤酒吧的盛況,真的天與地比。這裡樓底高,裝修新穎雅致,環境很好。看晚市餐牌,這裡的選擇可齊全,由開胃菜到湯到沙律,至魚及肉及飯或意粉,還有三文治及漢堡,亦有幾款甜點,兩頁的餐牌,好吃與否不知,但應該滿足人客的要求。先在酒吧那邊喝點東西,就來兩杯大啤。是Kronenbourg 1664及Stella Artois,個人是晚要喝前者,清新亦帶點微味,似我最近的生活寫照。邊喝啤酒,邊看四周,見食物份量也不少,那就不能多叫,就兩款前菜,兩道主菜,再加甜點就非常足夠了。先來的麵包籃,是熱熱的乳酪包及核桃包,皆烘得熱熱的,塗起牛油來,美味;兩道沙律同時上檯,別是凱撒沙律及煙肉粒菠蛋沙律。前者的羅馬生菜很新鮮,藍芝士醬汁也濃郁鮮味,刨片的巴馬山芝士也夠多,連麵包粒也香口又脆脆的,沒有什麼好投訴的了;煙肉粒菠蛋沙律也很好,酸汁開胃,加上溏心蛋黃及鹹香的煙肉,也是個味道不錯的沙律。這兩道沙律,皆滿意;我的主菜是牛肉漢堡,牛肉烤得香噴噴的,賣相也不俗。加上酸瓜、洋蔥及蕃茄,吃起上來味道不錯。唯牛肉漢堡做得鬆散一點,欠缺了口感。叮囑要medium rare的,來的是八成熟,廚房對火侯的掌握是一般。伴碟的薯條是幼身的,炸得夠乾身,又脆口美味,是啤酒的良伴,三兩下手勢已全部吃清;另一道主菜是燒鵪鶉蘆筍意大利飯,鵪鶉燒得香口,肉質鮮美,很不錯。餐牌以Jumbo來形容的,也真的很多肉。意大利飯做得略差,味道方面是沒有問題,但米本身一咬就斷,沒有應有的口感,應該是預熱再煮的吧!吃罷主菜,其實已飽了九成幾,不過不吃甜品,又好像缺少了什麼似的,就來一個招牌甜品「Coupe Glacee De La Mer」來對分。賣相不錯,是燉水蜜桃配上云呢拿雪糕,水蜜桃燉得香甜,佐以微酸的紅莓醬,甜酸味道,平衡得不錯。云呢拿雪糕還灑上烤開心果仁的,也美味。最後來兩杯咖啡,吃得很飽足。侍應的服務及格,卻不能與真正的法國餐廳相比,至少問起一些關於菜色的問題,是膛口結舌的。連有氣蒸餾水,埋單七百六十幾。不算是十分貴,尤其以這個地點及環境而言,也可以是一班朋友聚首吃飯的地方。
