Diner for 3 without alcohol is about HK$900+

Décor: Average… toward sterile white

Ambiance: average… sittings: a bit too close to your neighbor

Service: staffs are pushy of expensive products (meals) and not very knowledgeable… The Maitre D does not know what saffron is when asked if the seafood stew is cooked with Saffron.

Wine list: limited… perhaps reasonable for a small restaurant like this. Wine by the glass is on the expensive side.

Food: The seafood stew, which we ordered, has probably been cooked with ingredients that are not too fresh, giving us a funny aftertaste instead of the traditional taste that one expects of a seafood soup or seafood stew. The grilled sardines are not very fresh and actually have a strong “fishy” smell. The spicy chicken is overwhelmed with spices such that you cannot even taste the chicken. The portions are reasonable. We decided to skip dessert.

Would we go back?... most likely not

係香港真係好難搵到好食既葡國菜餐廳。聽聞呢間 d 食物好有水準, 於是黎試下。叫左: 牛油燴新鮮魷魚圈 - 冇點用乜野調味, 牛油香, 魷魚新鮮彈牙, 鮮甜美味。 胡椒蝦 - 主打菜, 用煲仔形式上, d 胡椒粒好大粒, 胡椒味又香又濃烈, 蝦既 size 一般 la, 不過夠入味, 蝦頭亦好食, 厨師好有心機整。 非洲雞 - 唔算辣, 雞香口濃味。 焦糖布甸 - 焦糖香甜, 布甸蛋味重, 質感滑 心太軟連雲呢拿雪糕 - 還可以, 可惜朱古力汁唔夠整體食物滿意、美味, 不過價錢不便宜。

Cassie wanted to try out 'La Creperie' and we headed to Queen's Road East around 7:30. The place was so full that they did not even bother asking us to wait, since we did not have a reservation. So we parked at Hopewell and Cassie suggested Nino Cozinha, one of her friends favorite restaurant. The place was 80% full. Nice layout and everyone was surprisingly quiet. There was a dinner party with 10 people next to us and they looked like they have been there for a while. 2 hours later when w

So we parked at Hopewell and Cassie suggested Nino Cozinha, one of her friends favorite restaurant. The place was 80% full. Nice layout and everyone was surprisingly quiet. There was a dinner party with 10 people next to us and they looked like they have been there for a while. 2 hours later when we left, they were still eating - or waiting to be more precise. One of them actually fell asleep during the meal while waiting for their next dishes.

For us, we placed our order and 15 minutes none of our dish came, but we saw other tables with bread, so we asked for bread and that took another 10 minutes. Our first dish - Clams in white wine sauce, finally came and it was OK. Clams were a bit small but fresh. It took another 10 minutes before our next dish came. The arroz de pato (鴨飯) was nicely done and not salty or greasy. Then we waited for another 30min for the next 2 dishes. The Galinha à Portuguesa (葡國雞) was most disappointing. It was watery and did not have the usual aroma that go with such dish. Our last dish spinash with garlic and mushroom (ok it's not really portugese, but we wanted a plain vegetable dish) was average, but mushroom were no where to be found.

In summary, we felt like we paid for very average food in a very slow paced restaurant (wasn't just us). I wonder what happened during lunch time.

Had dinner there the past week, everything's delicious! The wine Gazela was great too although a bit overpriced. In the states I believe you could get the bottle of vinho verde for about 8 USD but in this restaurant was HKD 290!We ordered plenty of dishes, pepper shrimp which was great, we pre-ordered a whole crab and we chose the method of cooking it with curry which was great. We had other smaller dishes such as the seafood salad (very fresh and light), "Ma Ga Yau" fried eggs (delish!) "Garlic Ma Ga Yau" braised cabbage (very delicious almost my favorite dish), so many other dishes I don't remember.. this tomato based dish with chick peas and cow stomachs was also good.

Their dessert was SO GOOD. Their coconut tart is out of this world. And of course the "mok hong" pudding was the bomb. Harder than your usual ones which is great.

Staff was very courteous, good service. I would recommend coming here with more people so you can try more dishes and eat family style!

We had,

A friend of mine told me about Nino's Cozinha Restaurant & Bar. I went there and it was great because all the things I've tried made me feel like home.
For startes I orded the Sardines Pate and the Clams with white wine, it made me feel just like summer, so fresh and tasty.
The main courses we ordered were the meatballs and the Bacalhau à Braz (Codfish). The meatballs tasted just like my mom's meat balls, with the right balance between the garlic and olive oil and the tomato sauce. The Codfish was also really tasty.
The desserts were amazing, fine Serradura and good sweet rice. But I cannot stop thinking about the Portuguese Cheesecake, which is really original dessert cause uses my favorite kind of cheese (Queijo da Serra). I really recommend this place, where you can have a nice and pleasant meal, have some portuguese wine, while you're listening to some fine portuguese music.

朋友介紹下,大吃大喝了一頓豐富滿足的葡式午餐。

葡國雞,沒有一般濃烈的椰味,帶出新鮮口味,賣相亦吸引。

最後是鴨飯,壓得平平的飯混合鴨肉,加上數片烤腸鋪面作點綴,外觀實在平平無奇…吃一口,哈哈,好好味,味道特別!看似沒什麼,卻味道豐富,不懂怎說…值得一試!!

We visited Nino's at its new address last Friday and were surprised how much its food quality has dropped compared to before when it was at 灣仔船街. While it is now a lot bigger, it is not more spacious because they have packed tables too close to one another. While the old place was small, it was cozy and has style. It now looks and feels like an ordinary, inexpensive cafe and has no character. We did not enjoy the decor.Back to the food, we were disappointed by the main dish we ordered - Pep

Back to the food, we were disappointed by the main dish we ordered - Pepper Shrimps Pot. It is now made of v large shrimps and costs a lot more (nearly $400). Previously at the old restaurant it used smaller shrimps, but the flavour soaked into the smaller shrimps a lot better.

The Mussels in White Wine Sauce was nothing special either. Nobiduca at Harbour City does the same a lot better.

Ox tail soap was only average. It is thick but feels starchy.

The worst experience yet is with the Ham we ordered as appetizer. They charged $252 for a small appetizer-portion plate and it was not very tasty (27 mths aging). The Spanish restaurant Ole offers a lot better (36 mths aging) yet charges a lot less (~$100).

Overall, the problem we see is that now with the new location and new restaurant, their mission has become too commercial and set out to make as much money as possible, by making dishes as expensive as possible, while letting the food quality drops.

是日的烤豬脂肪不多,但豬耳硬得吃不下去,最好吃是面珠部分,皮脆而肉嫩,還帶點油甘。

此店於船街時已想幫襯, 但到它已搬到新址才有機會, 今次是我倆提早慶祝的情人節. 新店佔地兩層, 地方一定比舊店大, 但感覺少了一種小店風味. 侍應不少, 經理及廚應該都係葡人, 所以感覺地道, 禮貌不俗.... Traditional Portuguese Sangria -- red wine base, 加了port 酒及其他烈酒, 侍應說較平常sangria 濃味, 但我嫌不夠濃, 好在無叫fruity sangria.白酒煮藍青口 -- 青口好肥, 好creamy, 白酒湯汁好鮮甜, 好好味!胡椒蝦煲 -- 有一打海中蝦埋响一大煲胡椒中, 上枱前倒到大碟中, 蝦應該係本地貨, 但係好新鮮好爽口, 雖然要接近四百蚊一煲, 但真係幾好味!馬介休炒椰菜 -- 本來像平平無奇, 經理上桌時加上少少白醋, 味道變得清新.... 鴨飯 -- 內有鴨肉加葡國臘腸點綴, 味道像荷葉飯又像芋頭鴨, ok 啦.... 馬介休炒椰菜 -- 本來像平平無奇, 經理上桌時加上少少白醋, 味道變得清新....

鴨飯 -- 內有鴨肉加葡國臘腸點綴, 味道像荷葉飯又像芋頭鴨, ok 啦....

Chocolate Flan with Ice Cream -- 朱古力不太甜, 餅的texture 唔錯, 溫度剛好, molten chocolate 可以溶到出嚟, 幾好!

Portuguese Apple Pie with Ice Cream -- 其實同普通apple pie 差不多, 皮幾薄, 肉桂味好濃, OK....

是晚有一大枱中年女性客人十分嘈
, 無table manner, ruin 餐廳o既氣氛

但係呢樣o野餐廳control 唔到, 無辦法......

總括而言, 係食葡國菜o既不二之選!

自從禁煙例開始以來,餐餐興飯前飯後一支煙既我,日日都喺d食肆門口呀,馬路旁邊食煙,食完先返工做野,超無癮 有日約左個舊同事食lunch,佢帶我去左間食得煙既餐廳<---因為我地坐outside, 間餐廳喺灣仔QRE Plaza 5/Fl, 當日我地叫左兩個set lunch share食, 有麵包,是日餐湯(牛尾湯),主菜同餐茶:A) 白汁海鮮意粉($108) - d意粉啱啱好,有口感,d汁香濃得黎唔會“傑撻撻,有魷魚,硯肉,蝦...等等,絕對足料!B) BBQ牛仔骨配椰菜白飯($118) - 牛仔骨入味又唔韌,個味道好食得難以形容,本人認為係超水準之作!!值得一試!我地仲叫左個小食:辣味魷魚($82),肉質鮮甜彈牙,辣辣地,好醒胃@@飯後再嘆埋支煙先返工,感覺超正!下次再o黎過!
