身為一個文青 雖然喺偽個隻 但骨子裡都喺流住蒲cafe 嘅血💉 所以平時收埋收埋一堆cafe 每到星期六日 就內敷咖啡 外敷靚cafe 裝修 -今次就喺慕Nosh 個Signature Lemon Tart 之名 而來一嚟到就緊喺嗌咗個lemon tart 先 之後先慢慢吓叫咩飲啦-Lemon Tart ($62)淨喺睇過賣相都已經流哂口水 個火焰蛋白燒得好靚 食落喺有陣焦糖化咗嘅香味 之後食到Lemon Mousse 就有陣陣清香嘅酸味走出嚟 你會食到甜味同酸味嘅和諧 實在喺非筆墨能形容到😭 如果鍾意食Lemon Tart 嘅朋友 呢個真喺一個不能錯過的Lemon Tart-Flat White ($45)食完Lemon Tart 至好就喺配返杯Flat White 咖啡味香濃 拉花都幾靚 而且佢地個奶泡做得幾好 擺得耐咗唔會太易有frothing

上環一向是小店和café的集中地,雖然街道清靜,但是每間café都滿座,要找一間舒適座位坐坐不是易事。當中Nosh是一家較出名的café,非常多外國棒場客,由於店外環境清靜,又可以看見路上經過的小動物---貓貓狗狗,所以露天的bar table實長期座滿人的。而我今天就坐近門口bar table 的位置,對著水吧。眼前是rose cake, 相當吸睛,不過我不是太肚餓,口渴比較多,所以沒有買來吃。夏日炎炎非常口渴,點了一杯apple buds watermelon smoothie,是special smoothie of the day,喝下去果味很淡;首先不看menu都不知道原來有apple bud成份,另外西瓜汁不夠味,像是泡了很久冰的西瓜汁,一點都不吸引。總括來說這杯是一杯普通不過的西瓜冰,不值40大元。

🏃🏼走上環太平山街,總覺得這裡有種🌤休閒假日的感覺,就像一個外國小社區,跟大坑也有著同樣異曲同弓之妙。🍽走進這餐廳,當天一半以上都是外國人,而且店內坐冇虛席,要等一會才可入坐。叫了Nosh Brunch,薯粒用香草及牛油炒香,🍅番茄飽滿多汁,Egg Benedict 反而有點失望,蛋不夠溜心。🍋檸檬撻,賣相一流但太甜Cappuccino 泡沫細緻不錯不能出國只好望梅止渴。

We arrived on a sunny Sunday morning for their weekend brunch. We were lucky to be able to snatch up one of the few remaining seats. The staff were friendly and quickly took our order with plenty of smiles and little fuss.

Lovely fluffy scrambed eggs on two slices of buttered sourdough toast with crispy bacon, roasted vine tomatoes and greens. The scrambled eggs deserve a special mention as they were rich and eggy, not like the bland, diluted stuff you sometimes get at other restaurants. The bacon was also cooked perfectly, being crispy but not burnt and dry.

Brunch is never complete without a cup of coffee, and coffee at NOSH was pretty decent. Smooth and creamy but still able to taste the espresso within. Sipping on coffee while looking out onto the beautiful street outside is surely a great way to spend the mornings.

I would definitely recommend trying out NOSH Tai Ping Shan if you haven’t already, but definitely come early as it fills up quite quickly.

I was planning to have a breakfast at Nosh, but the waiter said they had lost the kitchen key and I need to wait for 30 minutes for them to open the kitchen. I had more than 30 minutes and decided to wait. After 30 minutes a waiter brought the menu. I chose ham and cheese baguette. After a while the waiter told me that they did not have cheese available. Hmm. I asked a simple ham baguette. After a while the waiter came and told me that they could not serve they ham, 'as it was not suitable quali

My options were more limited and I needed to leave soon. I asked a simple plain croissant from the waiter. After this order, I waited for 25 minutes for a simple plain baguette. It never arrived. Nor was any explanation given. I spent one hour at Nosh, did not receive any of the food orders and I needed to leave. I paid for my coffee. There were three workers at the counter. There was no apology or explanation for the very weird cafe experience, I just encountered. This is sad, as it is a nice location in the midst of SYP, deco is nice and it has all the potential to be a good cafe in a good location. I sincerely hope they will pay better attention to customer service.

Star of the table | my personal favorites sharingastries - all of them are the must-try & they have hand-crafted specials every weekend.My favorite is the mille-feuille, the very traditional timeless classic. I love the texture of the razor thin pâte feuilletée and the mixed flavor of the raspberries and pastry cream / crème diplomate. I have heard once a Parisian customer saying that this one she had at Nosh is better than those she had in Paris, and I also believed very much in my taste buds.C

Pastries - all of them are the must-try & they have hand-crafted specials every weekend.

My favorite is the mille-feuille, the very traditional timeless classic. I love the texture of the razor thin pâte feuilletée and the mixed flavor of the raspberries and pastry cream / crème diplomate. I have heard once a Parisian customer saying that this one she had at Nosh is better than those she had in Paris, and I also believed very much in my taste buds.

Coffee - the best Mocha in town, I loved it even I don't personally fond of any other type of coffees except espressos & americano. I like bitter stuff, but still I have to admit his Mocha is very good.

Scramble eggs - every dish that contains scrambled eggs there can never go wrong. They make the best scramble eggs in HK, no jokes.

NoshTPS is always my favorite eatery around the Sheung Wan Poho area. There are numerous of cafes / resto nearby, but the simple, bright and clean interior brings the minimalist vibes that stood out from the neighborhood. I can say it is a real hidden gem of the city, as they don't actually promote a lot, but it is unbelievably popular among the expats who live / work in HK island and most of the foodies who love exploring Hong Kong's eateries.

Brunching tips: Their weekend brunch is the must-haves, but I recommend visitors to go earlier or right when they opens (10am), because it will be a queue every soon till the end of the brunch time (around 3pm). If you just want a coffee, a piece of nice delicate pastry and chill, go during weekdays afternoon.

I popped by after brunch with a girfriend as I've always wanted to try the coffee here but I wasn't too impressed with the latte here. It did look the part but the microfoam was oddly cold while the milk wasn't sweet enough. The espresso could have been stronger as well.

I don't hate Tai Ping Shan, but I do hate being there. It's not my scene. I don't want to be a trendy person spending hours at a trendy cafe being seen by all the trendy people who are there, likewise, to be trendy and be seen being trendy. I'm too grunge for that. Being a loser is the only type of cool I recognize. Still, I can be talked into going to TPS, when there's food involved. I thought I'd post my picture of coffee after I noticed half a dozen other pictures just like this one on this s

I thought I'd post my picture of coffee after I noticed half a dozen other pictures just like this one on this site. So I can fit in. Anyway, I had grapefruit juice and it was both good and in a decent sized portion.

After perusing the menu I decided to go with the open-faced shiitake melt. I can't find it on their online menu, so while I want to say the bread is sourdough, I can't say for sure. Anyway, this was a slice of bread, covered in a layer of avocado, which in turn was covered in a mountain of sauteed shiitakes, and then topped with a crispy layer of parmesan. It was a huge amount of food and the mushrooms were really fantastic. (Excellent)

I love breakfast potatoes. Home fries, hash browns, the things they call "has browns" at McDonald's-- it's my favorite part of breakfast. Since my sandwich didn't come with any, I ordered them on the side. They took a little while to come, but they were the perfect combination of soft and crispy, piping hot, and with a nice peppery kick. (Excellent)

I only eat my eggs three ways: hard boiled, over hard, and scrambled. I know, I'm the world's biggest egg-Philistine. Anyway, my wife got the poached eggs w/ tomatoes, bacon, and salad. She said that nothing detracted from the meal, but it didn't really stand out either. She says "B+" but remember she's an American professor, so she gives everything a B+ or an A.

For a "concept" by a trendsetting Swedish millionaire couple, the food's pretty good. I daresay it's better than the food in Sweden. (Zing! But really, that's true.) I probably won't come back though. It is hard to get a seat. People really do sit there just to sit there. Everyone near us when we were seated was still there when we left. The initial seat I tried to sit in was being "saved" for someone's friend, who never showed up. Or maybe he/ she did after I left. Who knows how long they waited?

終於等到開心星期六嘞!我同妹妹一早約好一起去學煮飯仔嘞!今天個太陽猛烈到暈,由地鐵行上去cooking studio都只係差不多15分鐘,但我地兩個都已經成身濕哂!好彩對面有間咖啡店打救了我,我立刻跑到對面買杯涷latte飲。我最喜歡看到有層次嘅飲品,好似藝術品一樣!他們的咖啡沒有酸味,但帶微苦,我本人很喜歡。下次來,我一定要坐下來享受享受!

太平山街上,亦有幾間Cafe,相同之處是通常只在日間營業,黃昏六七點後才關門,有些在週末也休息,給我的感覺是這些店的老闆都是「賺錢買花帶」,可以隨心情而工作或休息,我多麼希望有這樣的生活呢!

這間NOSH Tai Ping Shan,由早上開至黃昏,週六也仍然開門,算是這條街上營業時間最長的店。位置正是觀音堂對面,店內賣咖啡,門外郤有攤檔賣香燭,人和神仙同時要充電,非常有趣。

這天是星期六,供應Weekend Brunch,有四款All day breakfast,亦可點三文治或沙律,但不包飲品。

選了其中一款All day breakfast “Euro Brunch" ($125)

烤過的Sourdough麵包,上面放著一大片炒蛋,配料還有煙肉、烤番茄、蔬菜沙律、芝士。蛋炒至七八分熟,掌握得剛剛好,軟滑得來有蛋汁流出,跟香脆的Sourdough一起吃,滋味更好。當沙律撈上芝士碎,清新得來又非常滑溜。

這店的座位有點迫,像這天坐滿客人時,便感到一點壓迫感。如果可以移走幾個位,會令人更好受的。不過,只要一日還有觀音堂,這咖啡店仍然能保持其獨特性的。

這天在上環尾吃過漢堡飽後, 向中環方向行, 中途本來是想去大安台的Café Loisl但去到時發現沒有開門, 那裡環境好清靜, 那咖啡店旁邊是一間瑜珈練習室, 當天也休息了, 在這裡做瑜珈練習室可能是一個適合嘅地點但做Café則如果以商業角度封考慮又真的幾癖下, 未幾在開飯網上見到這店果然關門了, 可惜!那天再落番樓梯後經過済公佛見旁邊開了間半開放式的咖啡店, 店的裝修刻意跟大廈的白牆黑窗框統一格調, 店是單邊位相當吸客, 租金想必也不會平易了! 果然蛋糕價位是偏高了點, 以尺寸跟價錢比較的話, 蛋糕款式不算多, 店內中外待應人数也不少, 但賣的食物相對簡單得多, 蛋糕太貴唯有飲野啦!Flat White large $39 Size算係大嘅, 但個拉花花紋就差在埋尾一下, 亦都係大部份嘅通病, 奶都算打得合格, 咖啡味亦比Latte突出,太座嘅Earl Grey $35則茶壺上, 服務方面: 一般!*由於旁邊是済公佛壇, 有時會有d好嘈嘅打鑼聲傳入店內, 同店內嘅歐西音樂成一大對比,十分搞笑, 而今次我們位置在廚房旁, 所以廚房內的音樂也傳到我們耳邊, 廚房不是聽收音機而是許冠傑的"

*由於旁邊是済公佛壇, 有時會有d好嘈嘅打鑼聲傳入店內, 同店內嘅歐西音樂成一大對比,十分搞笑, 而今次我們位置在廚房旁, 所以廚房內的音樂也傳到我們耳邊, 廚房不是聽收音機而是許冠傑的"金曲"!當天我們的位置氣氛就好像游走於50年代至70年代,十分有趣*

趁星期日去太平山街一帶行下, 行完就向街角既NOSH 坐底飲野, 揀左望街既吧檯位, 望住街外既人和事, 好多人帶狗狗黎, 好RELAX~~叫左Lemon Pound Cake, 一小片要$18, 檸檬味濃但比較乾身, 送coffee係唔錯既選擇~~我要左Mocha, 有拉花, 唔會太甜及朱古力味剛好~~會想再黎試下佢既 al carte menu~~

叫左Lemon Pound Cake, 一小片要$18, 檸檬味濃但比較乾身, 送coffee係唔錯既選擇~~

我要左Mocha, 有拉花, 唔會太甜及朱古力味剛好~~

經過上環想坐低飲杯咖啡食件餅, 今次試下NOSH Tai Ping Shan裝修簡潔, 牆上有"店舖外觀"既壁畫, 有心思 有室內室外可選擇, 環境舒適甜品款式唔算多, 但每件都精緻早午餐款式唔算吸引因為飽, 所以只係叫杯咖啡同埋試下佢地出名既蘋果撻Cafe Latte $39------Latte唔苦, 入口算滑, 整體正常Cafe Mocha $35-----Mocha甜甜地, 淡淡咖啡香, 整體正常Apple Tarte Tatin (蘋果撻) $52----上面係灑左肉桂粉既忌廉, 中間係rum酒煮過既蘋果, 底層係鬆脆既酥皮撻 (0/10)蘋果撻size幾細, 忌廉口感light, 蘋果雖爽口但味道奇怪唔討好--苦苦地帶輕微酸,size極細既酥皮撻鬆脆唔膩, 但*奇味蘋果*破壞一切$52一個唔值總結: 只為輕鬆外國coffee shop 環境吧

心血來潮好想享受一個悠閒嘅下午,去openrice search 下上環又咩好地方,見Nosh食評唔錯就去試下。Nosh喺轉角位,餐廳不算大,但好開洋,我就㨂左bar枱半露天位。點左Apple Tarte Tatin 同 cappuccinoApple Tarte Tatin: 面頭個cream 好輕一d都唔漏,新鮮蘋果帶淡淡嘅酒味,最欣賞係蘋果依然爽囗,有口感,又不會太甜口味清新;底層薄薄的酥皮獨立食非常鬆化不油膩,但連埋蘋果一齊食就唔多覺,可能太薄。整體來講,係好味,一定會再試。Cappuccino : 亦有水準,奶泡夠細滑夠厚,咖啡不太濃但夠香,是我喜歡的味道。
