餐廳係歌賦街,上環地鐵站行上去大約10- 15分鐘。我通常會喺中環行過去因為有電梯搭冇咁辛苦😬叫咗個四個course嘅Dinner, 咁啱我想食嘅嘢全部都要Set dinner 加錢😂Lobster Bisque and Pan - 好食整得Seared,但因為我想試多啲嘢嘅關係所以龍蝦湯同朋友share飲。 Hokkaido Scallops 有啲overcooked。餐廳主題係龍蝦冇你又唔食龍蝦㗎嘛所以叫咗whole live Boston with garlic herb better ,我鍾意食啖啖肉可惜1.5磅嗰日冇貨所以叫咗隻一磅嘅😌 唔錯唔錯飲埋酒實在太飽啦,所以係咁以食咗少少甜品就收工,好食但冇影相。

飲埋酒實在太飽啦,所以係咁以食咗少少甜品就收工,好食但冇影相。

同朋友3個人第一次黎到paul's kitchen, 呢度環境舒適, 員工有禮貌, 尤其係介紹餐牌方面, 非常詳細。頭盤其中一款係黃椒湯, 從來都未試過, 所以即刻點左, 味道好特別, 入口就有濃濃既椒味, 好清新好好味, 朋友既三文魚沙律都好新鮮。主菜我要左春雞, 外脆肉嫩, 仲有肉汁, 一d都唔會乾, 抵讚! 朋友就要左牛同羊, 似乎都好好味, 佢地食到讚口不絶, 不過我兩樣都唔食, 所以無得試, 好慘! 甜品叫左麵包布甸, apple crumble同埋brownie, 超級好味, 同係其他餐廳食既唔同, 呢度好有自家製feel, 加埋一杯熱mocha, 正!!!

成餐飯好難食。忍唔住要寫出嚟。點左三文魚沙律,D三文魚冇味 。主菜食左所謂嘅招牌菜燒春雞,又冇味,仲有血,好驚囉。甜品係蘋果crumble,嚨嚨地,好失望。以後都唔嚟。靚仔廚師都冇用,D野唔好食!可惜冇帶相機,如果唔係一定影抵D咁差嘅野食share俾大家!

總括而言, 這次絶對選對了地方, 不但食物有水準, 服務亦一流, 有機會的都會再來。

由於同事想到Paul's Kitchen一試很久了,所以趁着她的生日請她到這裡來。我們兩人於1點左右到達,餐廳己經快要滿座,幸好一早預訂了,哈哈...午餐以set lunch為主,我們各人點了一份。首先到來的是麵包,很新鮮,外脆內嫩,很好吃!頭盤我們分別點了沙律及青瓜湯,沙律用料新鮮,值得一讚!青瓜湯是凍湯,味道清甜,很特別。主菜選了鴨胸及雞肉螺絲粉,鴨胸份量剛剛好,內質鮮嫩,配合自家整的醬汁來吃一流。螺絲粉芝士味十足,加上嫩口雞肉,正!我們另外再點了兩個甜品,分別是麵包布甸及apple crumble,麵包布甸外層焗至金黃色,蛋味香濃,麵包脆口,十分好吃!!!apple crumble味道剛好,最重要是不會太甜,一啖有齊custard、脆脆及蘋果,真的很好吃。雖然我們吃完主菜後已經很飽,但都把甜品給消滅了。最後來個餐飲,就此為這頓豐富的午餐劃個完美的句號。

我們另外再點了兩個甜品,分別是麵包布甸及apple crumble,麵包布甸外層焗至金黃色,蛋味香濃,麵包脆口,十分好吃!!!
apple crumble味道剛好,最重要是不會太甜,一啖有齊custard、脆脆及蘋果,真的很好吃。
雖然我們吃完主菜後已經很飽,但都把甜品給消滅了。
最後來個餐飲,就此為這頓豐富的午餐劃個完美的句號。

Roasted duck breast served with blackcurrant sauce $98: 8分, 落單時侍應告知大廚的心水是七成, 好, 既然他有信心, 就照做七成. 果然出來的效果是剛剛好, 鴨肉嫩滑, 不會太老, 有肉汁, 點上黑加倫子醬, 好像好奇怪的配搭, 但效果其實又幾好. 加上兩大塊薯仔, 都幾大份量的一道主菜.

Traditional bread and butter pudding $30: 9分, 一場來到, 怎也要一試這裡的甜品, 就要了兩客分吃. 當然要麵包布甸, 經典的英式甜品. 份量不太大, 薄薄的, 其實更能控制到火候, 面頭微脆, 下面充滿奶香, 質感軟滑, 甜度適中. 麵包布甸一向是小弟喜愛的甜品. 坦白講, 好久沒吃過這麼合心水的麵包布甸. 這裡的, 值得推介.

Apple crumble with custard sauce $30: 8分, 這個Apple crumble, 沒有下肉桂, 是遷就港人口味? 不過這個版本, 也做得相當出色, 熱辣辣, 面頭的脆脆香口, 底下的蘋果不會太酸. 加上吉士醬同吃, 更能中和蘋果的酸味, 幾有心思.

整體食物是有相當水準, 看得出大廚的誠意. 這個午餐, 價位合理, 環境舒適, 服務也相當滿意. 當然, 對女士來講, 還有增值位, 這個開放式廚房, 其實大派用場.

very disappointing...Friend and I tried their signature chicken..it is not well cooked and we can see the blood coming out...the taste is just ok...Had the apple crumble but it is not traditional...even though i dont know how to make it..it is tasted so strange...two stuff are separated..the coffee is sucks...just bitter without other taste..the dinner is over $350 per person..it is totally not worthy...we will rather go to 9 Kee for beef briskets!!!

Went with a couple friends for dinner. I was excited about the baby french chicken, so ordered a set dinner with that as the main course. It was pretty good - quite tender and juicy, but there was a tiny part of it that was still pink. I'd still give some credit to the chef because it's quite hard to make a chicken perfectly right, without risking perhaps a small part of it uncooked. The potatoes were fabulous, but the appetizer - mozzarella and tomato salad could have been more generous in port

The potatoes were fabulous, but the appetizer - mozzarella and tomato salad could have been more generous in portion. For dessert I had the apple crumble, but it doesn't live up to it's name. The crumble was slightly charred on the sides, and there was so little apple that it felt (only tiny strips of it covering the bottom of the platter) rather unsatisfying.

I'd say try it once, especially if you're looking for a quiet restaurant, but I'm not sure I'd come again.

I'm really sad to have to write this because I used to love Paul's Kitchen and their cosy dinner sets. However, I'd really like to share my latest dining experience there and I'll try to be as neutral as possible.I had been to Paul's Kitchen 2x before, and had the 3 course dinner set with Salmon and Roast Baby Chicken. I'm really sad to have to write this because I used to love Paul's Kitchen and their cosy dinner sets. However, I'd really like to share my latest dining experience there and I'll try to be as neutral as possible.

I had been to Paul's Kitchen 2x before, and had the 3 course dinner set with Salmon and Roast Baby Chicken. Both times, the food was quite good, nicely cooked and yummy, and as everyone already said, the potatoes were great! The best part is ending the meal with a hot and sweet crispy Apple Crumble with ice cream, which I absolutely loved both times previously.

Last night I decided to share this delightful restaurant with my friends and had a private birthday dinner in the VIP room of Paul's Wine Bar (a few doors down). Here's the summary:

FOOD:
-7 people ordered the Signature Roast Chicken, all except 1 were UNDERCOOKED
(raw and pink meat)
-Paul did apologize, blaming it on an oven problem, but this sort of thing should never happen in a restaurant(!) If it was a hair in my soup, fine, but raw chicken is a severe NO-NO as you can get people seriously ill!

-the other 3 people got Pork / Lamb as their main course and were quite pleased
-desserts were sub-par, the Apple Crumble was not hot at all and the crumble was dry and cold, nothing like before!

SERVICE:
-our party of 10 only had 1 server, who maybe came to help us once every 20 mins and was nowhere to be seen when we needed him
-as a result, our glasses were empty most of the night and we had to wait around 20 mins between courses
-overall service was slow and the night dragged because of this

I have to say that I was VERY disappointed with Paul's Kitchen this time around. After hyping it to all my friends, I was embarrassed that they all had such a bad time and still had to pay over $300 each for their horrible meals.

Paul did not give us anything for free to compensate for the raw chicken, but just a 10% discount on the chicken only, which I think was quite unreasonable for nearly giving all of us food poisoning.

OVERALL:
-Paul's Kitchen is good to try, as you might be lucky and everything should taste fine
-I recommend going there on a date or in a small group, maybe max of 4 people, otherwise they cannot serve you properly in a timely fashion
-The VIP room in the Wine Bar is cosy and nice, but no one is there to serve you, so expect to wait a long time to just order some drinks
-When ordering the chicken, maybe ask them to make sure it's cooked thoroughly!

個日阿N話同我去食晚飯, 我貪方搵間响中環嘅. 間餐廳係我個朋友話好想試架.... 上年講到今年 竟然係我去左先 咁我梗係要影d相做report 啦 我地叫左set; 唔... 個頭盤係鵝肝同沙拉, 鵝肝好好味又好大件喎 主菜係雞同羊排, 佢地好細心呀, 知道我地係share食佢地主動同我地分埋菜一齊上碟噃 跟住係甜品, 我地要左焗麵包布甸同apple crumble; 我自己真係唔好呢款焗布甸架, 但係佢地真係整得好好味; apple crumble係我一直由讀high school 到大個左都好鐘意食嘅甜品, 佢地冇令我失望之餘仲覺得原來可以再好d 講到價錢, 個環境同d食物, 仲有佢地對客人嘅細心, 都叫值得嘅早兩晚同大J去個朋友屋企食飯, 又講番呢單野, 大J話要一大班人去喎....

尋晚再去Paul's Kitchen, 由本來6個變左得番3個人...唔..... 水準冇變, 但係唔知係咪隻春雞嘅事, 好鬼嫩滑 其實係好食過上一次不過有時食材嘅野又好難講...今次試左Strawberry Heaven, 好味喎, 不過 Uncle J 唔鐘意咁酸; 如果酒响上面嘅係granola 而唔係粟米片可能會好味d 因為我都好鐘意响雪糕上面其實成晚好鬼靜, 但係我地3個人攪到好嘈, 真係唔好意思....佢真係一個談心嘅好地方, 事關冇咩人會特登望入黎 Rex 都係咁好服務 攪左佢成晚添..... 下次要請佢食個甜品先得 對住九記食呢餐.... 真係有衝動食完再去食碗牛腩米架, 下次要留番小小位先得

We have been to Gough Street several times and never tried this restaurant. Saw the Micheline Guide and knew that Paul's Kitchen is included in the recommendation section, so decided to go with my friends to try.Called to make a reservation and the person who answered the phone was very polite and informative. Called to make a reservation and the person who answered the phone was very polite and informative. We arrived as a group of 4 and the server was very friendly and attentive. He explained the menu briefly as well as some daily items.

We ordered a dozen of oysters to begin with (fine de claire & gillardeau). Both very fresh with the former one full of mineral flavour while the latter one brings slightly sweetness.

For starters we ordered 4 different dishes to share and the one which stood out was the Caesar Salad and New Potato Salad. Can taste their salad leaves were fresh and crispy with a good balance of dressing.

Two of us had their signature roasted baby chicken as main course while the others ordered Surf & Turf and Iberian Pork Saddle Rack. We all agreed the dishes were all nicely prepared. The baby chicken was crispy outside but juicy and tender. They used Tiger prawn and 4oz Wagyu as Surf & Turf. The only down side was the beef is slightly undercooked.

The server was very generous to offer us to pick more desserts to share and I personally like the Apple Crumble the best.

It was a satisfactory meal. The price is reasonable and not over-the-top. It's definitely not a fine-dining restaurant but truely like coming to someone else home for a meal but cooked with heart.

可能天氣麻麻,只有兩枱客,呢度細細哋,但環境不錯,招呼亦很周到,我哋order咗set lunch,有salad、main course 和飲品,Honey 揀咗Chicken Linguine($88) ,而我就要Roast Duck Breast($98)。先嚟麵包,外脆內軟,味道不錯。Caesar Salad - Caesar Salad 有Romaine、bacon、croutons和芝士,賣相麻麻,但味道OK,Romaine新鮮爽口,bacon香口。Chicken Linguine - Sauce 都幾creamy,Linguine硬度適中,雞肉味道不錯又唔嚡,味道可口。Roast Duck Breast - 鴨胸都幾大件,焗到鴨皮有少少脆,鴨肉有點咸香,味道不錯,唔知係唔係太厚之固,有部份鴨肉有點韌。最後我要Latte,而honey就要Earl Grey,Latte淡咗啲。
