❀ Pondi #西環 ❀❗必定要試一次 獨特印法fusion菜❗——————————————————有冇食過印法fusion菜?位於西營盤巷弄嘅pondi雖然只係一間小餐館,但菜式絕對能夠帶給你驚喜😍主廚 Chef Mahen完美將印度菜以高級嘅法式烹調手法呈現。今次試咗8-course chef tasting,道道菜均有驚喜,而且只係$680,捧住個肚超滿足離開🥰.✷𝑀𝑒𝓃𝓊✷☞ 8-course chef tasting $680.♥ Pani Puri 喜歡印度菜必定認識呢款傳統街頭小食。脆脆嘅外皮包住扁豆蓉、墨西哥辣椒、沙葛,再倒入清新薄荷水幾開胃😆.♥ Tuna crudo一片片軟滑嘅吞拿魚片配上香甜芒果醬🥭香蔥及紅椒🌶️味道豐富。.♥ Jackfruit Kofta 啱啱巉巉巉嘅外形原來係炸大樹菠蘿球😮香脆嘅口感,混入咗咖喱香料,特別惹味。.♥ Prawn Vindaloo 大蝦爽口彈牙🦐加上香料、椰子碎。蝦頭仲要釀入煙肉、麵包糠等食材,意想不到地香口呢!.♥ Fried Vegetables超喜歡佢嘅醬汁,係濃郁香甜嘅椰子咖喱。炸蔬菜球點上醬汁冇得頂🤤♥ Sautéed cabbage with tomato 原來椰菜花扒都可以惹味可口!♥ Stuffed Calamari絕對係餐廳招牌菜❣️魷魚筒釀製住滿滿嘅肉碎及開心果,再伴以蜆肉。雖然味道反而冇其他菜式咁濃郁,但非常足料,好滿足。.♥ Lamb Chaap 超有驚喜,印象難忘💖羊架粉嫩,充滿印度香料味,箇中美味絕對要試咗先感受得到。從未喺其他地方食到咁好味嘅羊架😚.♥ Almond baklava 經典中東甜品——————————————————✨整體味道: 4.2/5 ✨環境裝修: 3.9/5✨服務態度: 4/5✨性價比: 4/5✨再訪興趣: 4/5.💞整體來講非常喜歡呢間餐館嘅所有菜式,創新嘅方式呈現印度菜,每道菜都有意外驚喜,味道非常豐富,8courses $680保證超滿足離開😚

近年印度菜在香港越來越受歡迎。之前聽到好多人話呢間係西營盤幾好食,前排終於試咗。當晚選了6道菜的 tasting menu(HK$ 500),對女仔來說剛剛好。如果你想吃多些,還有8道菜menu(HK$ 680)。另有Wine Pairing(HK$ 350)。呢度最正係你可以同佢講想要菜單上邊道菜,他們都會盡量配合!𝙋𝙖𝙣𝙞 𝙋𝙪𝙧𝙞 配特製薄荷青醬清新開胃。調味豐富濃厚的𝘽𝙚𝙚𝙛 𝙏𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙚 底層搭配酥脆的薯仔超正。外形似春卷的𝙋𝙤𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙤 𝘾𝙝𝙖𝙖𝙩 融和了好多不同的材料及香料,蘸chive yogurt 味道層次複雜。至於招牌菜𝙎𝙩𝙪𝙛𝙛𝙚𝙙 𝘾𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙢𝙖𝙧𝙞 魷魚筒口感彈牙,入面釀了煙豬腩蜆肉等,好味飽肚。Here’s what we enjoyed:- Pani Puri 👍🏻👍🏻- Dry Aged Beef Tartare 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻- Potato Chaat 👍🏻👍🏻- Lasooni Scallop- Stuffed Calamari 👍🏻👍🏻- Grilled Butter Chicken- Baklava______________

This was one of the best and most unique restaurants I've been to this month, and I was very impressed with all the dishes that we ordered. They essentially serve Indian dishes with French influences, and the two cuisines complemented each other in every dish. The razor clam kachumber was very fresh and a perfect start to the meal. my favorite dish overall was definitely the steak tartare, which was served on top of potato pavé.The potato was crispy on the outside yet soft on the inside, and both the textures and flavors went perfectly with the steak tartare. It was so good I could've eaten the whole dish by myself! next the butter chicken came with a very flavorful sauce as well as some onions and tomatoes, which gave the dish a nice balance. The lamb was cooked so well and the quality of the meat was really good. One of the best lamb chops l've had in Hong Kong! lastly, for dessert, we got the fixed sticky toffee pudding, which was a perfect portion and came with some yogurt on the top, which balanced out the sweetness. The whole atmosphere of the restaurant was very homey and comfortable. This dinner surpassed my expectations, and I will definitely come back soon!

To those who find Indian 🇮🇳 food a bit heavy, but still crave for it! I’ve got a place for you 😉.Pondi [⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️]“Pondi” the restaurant name was inspired by South of India’s city: Pondicherry - that has a history of colonisation by the French East India Company. I thought this was extremely creative knowing this is a French 🇫🇷 and Indian 🇮🇳 fusion restaurant 🤩🤩. Co-founded by @chef_georgekwok and @floorstoriesbynat who also founded shop B - I knew this meal was going to be something special. .I normally find Indian food quite heavy when you have too much from all the dairy/yogurt 🥛 - but because this also had an element of French in it; it balances everything out. We had the 8 courses menu (for $680 pp) - and it did not disappoint. They also do 6 course for $500 pp. Thats less than $100 per dish 🤩🤩! Every dish were so different from each other, but all were explosion of flavours 🤩. I’m obsessed - highly recommend getting the tasting course as you’re able to taste different plates (and you don’t need to think what to order 🤣🙈). .𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗳’𝘀 𝗧𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 8-𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲 ($680 𝗽𝗽) 🥩 𝗗𝗿𝘆-𝗔𝗴𝗲𝗱 𝗕𝗲𝗲𝗳 𝗧𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗲 - my personal favourite the tasty cold beef tartare mixed with mayo and black garlic purée on top of warm potato pavé 🤤. .🫔 𝗣𝗼𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗼 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗮𝘁 - loved everything about this, you must eat this all together! .🍗 𝗚𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗕𝘂𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗻 - star of the show! Normally I find butter chicken super filling - but leek ash yogurt made this less heavy. I also loved how the smokiness of their grilled chicken 🤤 .🥥 𝗖𝗼𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘂𝘁 𝗖𝗿è𝗺𝗲 𝗕𝗿û𝗹é𝗲 - have to order a dessert on the side - loved the coconut flavor and mango on top!
