Heard some pretty good things about Tiger Curry from a friend so I thought I'd check it out.
The exterior is pretty awesome. Tiger cameo print on the WHOLE building... makes it stand out for sure.

The place was pretty small... seats maybe around 20 people at a time? made it a little more intimate i guess.
The Crispy Cheese Mochi balls were awesome. soft, chewy, cheesy goodness!! didn't have any taste of oil after eating it and it didn't give me that feeling of being too full to eat anything else haha i could have had all of it to myself...
We also ordered the curry breadsticks. deep fried and stuffed with curry. need i say more?
the last app. we ordered was the gyoza. to be honest... the dumplings were good... but it didn't taste of anything special... this was probably the most "normal" dish that we ordered.
ONTO THE CURRY!
I ordered the deep fried pork chop curry rice. I'm used to the very sweet tasting Japanese curries so i wasn't really all that optimistic about it... BUT!! the curry was actually not that sweet which was AWESOME. at first taste, the curry wasn't spicy at all, i was sort of disappointed to be honest. but as i kept eating... i started to feel the burn! the sourness in the pickles that they gave us on the side went wonderfully with the gradual growing spiciness of the curry. they just had an amazing party in my mouth.
Lastly i ordered the Sea Salt Ice Cream... i know.. sea salt?! crazy right?! who would have thought it would taste so good.
i was way too excited about it so i forgot to take a picture and just finished it all... i only have a picture of the aftermath...
