We came to this restaurant for its Michelin 1 star award. We ordered the luxury menu, the $699 one. The price is relatively cheaper than other starred restaurant. Second appetizer comes lobster salad with vinegar stuff. I would say the lobster is little bland, while the sauce and the plants didn’t make the lobsters to another level. Just lobster and some plants separately
Soup is hokkaido scallop with white soup. It’s ok but there is only half scallop in the soup. I would expect more for this price.
Main: duck breast/ slow cooked salmon with sea urchin. The duck breast tastes very good, very soft and rich in taste. As for salmon fish, it’s just a slow cooked salmon put together with sea urchin.
Dessert: average, forget about it 😭
To conclude: It was a quite disappointing Michelin star dining experience. It could have more innovative fusion of Japanese and French ingredients with better choice of sauces n seasoning. If you are looking for a Japanese French fusion restaurant, you could have a better choice in central.
