Had been to this restaurant 3 years ago and liked the food there a lot. So when came to the time to celebrate birthday with the December birthday star, immediately I though of this restaurant and recommended friends to go there for a birthday celebration!We arrived there at around 8pm and we didn't have to wait for the table (which was good as it's very difficult to find seats in the Tsimshatsui area restaurants for 4 persons without making any booking in advance these days).When we are all set

Had been to this restaurant 3 years ago and liked the food there a lot. So when came to the time to celebrate birthday with the December birthday star, immediately I though of this restaurant and recommended friends to go there for a birthday celebration!

We arrived there at around 8pm and we didn't have to wait for the table (which was good
as it's very difficult to find seats in the Tsimshatsui area restaurants for 4 persons without making any booking in advance these days).

When we are all settled in, we looked into the menu and found all the menu items (appetizer / salads / entree) all are very attractive. After some thoughts (and the restaurant manager - a lady wearing black suit gave us some advices), we have ordered the dinner set + 1 mushroom risotto + 2 lemonade (I couldn't remember the exact name of all the dishes)

After a while, the servers helped us with the olive oil & vineger and served a basket of bread + bread stick.
Bread + Bread stick : Very impressive, bread was served hot and feeling fresh.

After we finished with the bread, then they served us with the appetizer - crab cake with salad greens
Crab cake: Taste good and not oily even it's deep fried

The disappointment on the service of the restaurant started from this moment onwards. While we're chatting happily with the dish halfly finished there're still greens on the dish), the server came over and asked us if we'd finished the fish yet. We said no and continue eating and chatting. After a while the server came over again and asked my friends the same question (and my friends were apparently still enjoying the salad on the dish). We started to have the annoying feeling on their service...


So when we're really done with the crab cake dish, they served us with the mushroom soup.

Now it's the time for main dish, we chose Salmon & Prawn Pasta.
Salmon: A thick piece with lots of asparagus
Great to come with the cream sauce.
Prawn Pasta: 2 Prawns were on the dish with tomoto sauce pasta which was great and not too filling.


Just when we'd finished the main dish, the servers came to our table and took our dish away immediately (I wondered if they're hurrying off their work?) We found this very irritating and wondered how would a nice restaurant be like that
(but we're not eating in cha chan tang!!)

As we came here for December birthday star celebration, so we did asked the servers to help us to arrange to write Happy Birthday on the dessert dish. Yes they did that (nicely I'd to say) and the dessert platter was nice in general.

Dessert platter:
- Cinnammon ice-cream (cinammon lovers would love it)
- Chocolate molten cake (but the inside is not molten)
- Panna Cotta (very smooth with vanilla seeds!! highly recommended!)
- Napoleon (so-so but good to say as it remained to be crispy)


However, the worst service experience with this restaurant came.

When the dessert came and we're singing the birthday song for the Birthday star of the month, the servers came and interrupt our birthday song singing
as they would like us to pay the bill first (as they're closing the restaurant's account for the day). WHAT KIND OF SERVICE WAS THIS? We totally understand that they'd to close their accounts of the day but we wouldn't take up more than 30 secs to have the birthday song finished!!) Anyway, we settled the bill with the birthday song interrupted and distracted
.

What I can conclude from this visit is, the food of this restaurants remains to be nice and credits have to be given to the chef who prepares the dishes. However, the service standard is way too low to be accepted. I don't think I'll return to this restaurant or recommend to others when there is no improvement from the service stand point!

foie gras - good! though not as impressed as what we just had the night before, this was good also
spinach with cream sauce - not good, if it's cooked a bit more it's much better
mushroom with herbs - good, smelled good
black angus - we ordered medium rare, though it's very red inside, it was not bloody at all, and the charcoal aroma was soooo great! this was a very execllent cut of black angus!
risotto with lobster sauce - i'd say spaghetti house's better; the taste was a bit vague, flip-flopping between two (more tomato, more lobster) and lacked a strong and firm identity
ravioli with black truffle and foie gras - wow it's wonderful, very rich, and it's excellent the taste and texture i expected!
melted chocolate cake and dessert platter - average

overall an present meal, only one comment on the hot dishes - they all had the same problem, not hot enough, dishes got cold quickly. other than that, it's a very good evening

朋友生日,諗極都唔知食乜好咁岩經過呢間見環境唔錯,價錢又唔算太貴就入去試下感覺好好!我地四個女仔,叫四個餐其實都太多所以叫左三個餐Share食太約$168-$175一個餐starter好靚主菜我地要左pizza, 意粉仲有risotto個risotto係蟹肉, 好好味, 好rich仲有甜品&餐飲經理非常之細心,照顧周到我地食左足足三個鐘, 慢慢傾!環境雖然唔係grand, 但坐得舒服而且唔嘈而家尖咀好少唔嘈既餐廳!推介! 影得好少相~!

星期六下午,經過海洋中心, 見到一間可以望到海景的意大利餐廳, 見價錢並不算太貴, 裹面又幾多人,就入去試試。我選了焗牛油班戟, 而朋友就選了士多啤梨吉士忌廉千層酥,我個牛油班戟上枱已經聞到陣陣牛油香氣, 食落味道亦不錯。,朋友的士多啤梨吉士忌廉千層酥, 酥皮夠鬆脆,配埋甜甜地既吉士、士多啤梨食都幾夾, 加上侍應生們態度友善又有禮貌, 有機會一定要再來。另外再叫了2杯Special Drinks , Kiwi Pineapple Smoothie & Kiwi -Mint Julep, 好飲! 好飲!

我選了焗牛油班戟, 而朋友就選了士多啤梨吉士忌廉千層酥,我個牛油班戟上枱已經聞到陣陣牛油香氣, 食落味道亦不錯。,朋友的士多啤梨吉士忌廉千層酥, 酥皮夠鬆脆,配埋甜甜地既吉士、士多啤梨食都幾夾, 加上侍應生們態度友善又有禮貌, 有機會一定要再來。

另外再叫了2杯Special Drinks , Kiwi Pineapple Smoothie & Kiwi -Mint Julep, 好飲! 好飲!

正式上菜前, 先奉上麪飽, 包括foccacia 及 grissini. 個人較喜歡foccacia, 外層香脆, 裡面卻十分軟熟, 配上意大利醋和橄欖油, 一流!,Char-grilled Japanese scallops with cauliflower puree: 帶子帶點 pepper 味, grill 得外香口, 內就仲帶點生, 好軟滑, 火喉剛好, 好好食,番茄blue mussel - 好嫩好鮮甜,個汁少少酸幾開胃,Clams Linguine - 大大隻蜆都好嫩無沙,taste good,ND蒜香、欖油、辣椒有機意大利粉 - 我喜歡食蒜,所以用生蒜效果都唔錯,甜品心太軟加咗Happy birthday字在碟邊,令我的男友好Suprise,佩合環境,認真一流,下次一定介绍我D情侶朋友來enjoy.

the whole thing was like trying out a beginner home made dinner....i dont understand why there was a good comment on their beef cappacio...it wont be lower than expectation if it doesnt say it is angus beef......and their so-called SIGNATURE dish mussels....it tasteS super腥!! when we made comment to the manager...he said:"你地會唔會唔食得腥呀?"...................... when we had the organic linguine with clams white wine sauce...it tastes like boiled pasta...neglect the clams....there is no sauce on the d

when we had the organic linguine with clams white wine sauce...it tastes like boiled pasta...neglect the clams....there is no sauce on the dish and no favour at all!!! the manager again claimt that the dish is ORGANIC style and only add seasalt....from this feedback...can you tell he is a well education resturant manager at all?? i wonder if he tried all the dishes or know how a dish should be cooked!!! organic linguine it means the pasta is organic but not mean it tastes boring!!!

at last he gave us a really good feedback which is "海鮮應該係腥既"

guys...i have no idea why it can be a 推介餐廳!!!

終於有時間打返依個食評之前打電話去book定位,佢原來會問今次食飯係for咩,佢可以幫我係個甜品上面寫返Happy Birthday To 邊個,我覺得好好呀咁我book左1900,去到時得我地係入面食,哈哈,可能太早啦,佢俾左個sofa位我地,個view都唔錯呀,而且周圍環境好好feel,就算之後多左人都唔得差左之後我地坐左一陣先叫野食佢先黎左個餐前麵包好軟,好香呀,加埋D醋,好開胃呀先叫左個沙律入面好多蟹肉,一D都唔多覺熱氣,可能食埋沙律啦之後同女友一人一個湯不過個湯就咸左D,唔太得呀依個好香既唔知咩野菌菇,幾好甜,不過得我地兩個食就多左D,同埋佢都用好多油呀......女友話想試下依隻雞,我就想食飯,因為我怕我地食唔晒,都係叫左隻雞,食完唔飽先再叫飯,點知就俾隻雞KO左我地,雖然隻雞唔係大隻,不過入面有波菜,所以食完都好飽......由於太飽啦,我地坐左一陣先叫甜品女友好驚訝,因為所有野都係係佢在場點,點解會知佢個名同埋係生日如果多多兩個人一齊黎食可以食多D唔同既野,可以再黎,今晚依餐七百幾

今日同女友行開海港城… 見到一間意大利餐廳,外表裝修吾錯,一於就入去試下。 我們給安排坐係一角… 對住海景… 環境份外寧靜、亦浪漫叫了”聖丹尼火腿” … 好好味… 而主菜點了"蜆肉意粉", "" 及 “牛肝菌意大利飯” 甜品就叫左個咖啡燉蛋, (味道新配答… 感覺好特別) 總括黎講….每樣都好好味~~~yummy 下次一定同朋友再黎….

到吃意大利餐廳, 當然要嘗Pasta, 而現在香港的意大利餐廳亦已多有聲稱的"Homemade Pasta". 而這個牛肝菌Lasagne的要不是Homemade的話, 定是來自呃鎊的供應商. 因為它的皮實在太厚了! 縱使很牛的我也不能將其分開.

這個黑松露鵝肝醬Ravioli其實很給力的, 餡料一流, 不過可惜又是皮太厚. 一隻隻飛碟連同香草加入口, 口感有點近鳳城水餃, 可是皮滑, 味道亦香濃.

近年香港食肆在主題上引入世界各地的飲食概念, 然而他們實際上只想以該概念作為與別不同的賣點, 而非真正理解概念本身之理念與實踐.

Slow Food Movement除講求食物與服務的速度外, 還希望透過慢速度的時間能做出精巧仔細的"作品", 透心窩心而互動的服務也是他們所追求. 當然, 中價以上的收費並不要求太多, 但至少希望樓面同事不要老是躲在廚房裡, 多點了解我們所需吧!

慶祝之日。特別情況,原先想到既餐廳取消左,隨意的黎左呢到。先黎餐前飽藍,幾豐富下。麵包食落幾鬆軟,不過可惜胃口不佳,隨便食左件就停左手。要左個牛肝菌牛仔肉闊麵,闊麵幾彈牙,很不錯,同款有個係千層麵,應該也不錯,牛仔肉就唔多覺,好似d肉醬咁樣,同埋煮得太熟,好乾好韌下,相對失色。亦要左個法國原條鱸魚,有炭燒做法或者紙包焗,紙包焗未試過,當然一試。其實即係西式蒸魚,原條上,店員細心詢問是否需要拆骨,拆左骨賣相都無走樣,厲害。香草味燶,魚食落滑,幾好。檸檬撻,幾清新,幾酥化。埋尾咖啡,夠滑不過未算香,唔澀,收貨的。環境望住維港,舒服。服務好好,有介紹有推介,滿意。一個適合慶祝節日唔錯既地方。

慶祝之日。特別情況,原先想到既餐廳取消左,隨意的黎左呢到。

先黎餐前飽藍,幾豐富下。麵包食落幾鬆軟,不過可惜胃口不佳,隨便食左件就停左手。

要左個牛肝菌牛仔肉闊麵,闊麵幾彈牙,很不錯,同款有個係千層麵,應該也不錯,牛仔肉就唔多覺,好似d肉醬咁樣,同埋煮得太熟,好乾好韌下,相對失色。

亦要左個法國原條鱸魚,有炭燒做法或者紙包焗,紙包焗未試過,當然一試。其實即係西式蒸魚,原條上,店員細心詢問是否需要拆骨,拆左骨賣相都無走樣,厲害。香草味燶,魚食落滑,幾好。

小弟不久前也在此食過, 此店在選材方面確實過份, 所以才想在此與大家分享, 以免中計, 食過幾樣嘢:1)白酒蜆肉扁意粉- 採用街市有得買的” 沙白” 蜆, 無色無味, 收$1XX元2)白酒青口-問職員方知來自澳洲, 瘦得可恐佈的肉身, 加上濃腥的海草味. 不過值得一提的是職員的答案: 係咁架! 海水味重, 新鮮嗎. 好多人就鐘意食呢D味!, MY GOD! 已不想與之對話, 莫非連青口要吐水都不知道???3)法國海雕魚$2XX, 可怕的腥味已飄進鼻孔, 只是淺賞一口, 淡而無味的肉身, 已令我們甚麼胃口都失去, 也想再投訴,4)未食魚前本想叫個”LOSTER RISOTTO”, 好彩隔離先叫先到, 只有一, 兩块龍虾肉的意大利飯, 令果對情像尋寶般的投入揾龍虾肉! 心中暗叫好彩!總括: 其實餐廳環境及背景音樂配套得十分不錯, 只可惜職員的談吐及笑聲比音樂還要大聲, 食水太深,也完全無專業可言, 可悲也可惜.!

nothing special, I saw this from openrice and the comment seemed so good, so we decided to go,clam pasta: they use the cheap clam can source in market,I thing come from china,but the saleing price$1xxmusselsver cooked, And foul-smellingsteak: taste was extremely bad and over cooked....$3xxloster risotto: the loster little short of nothing,and the price $198 or 298 can't rememberservice: the staff always talking, never change the share platenever come back

有一日做完野, 經過TST海洋中心,見有點餓,就諗住食埋飯先走啦!見到有間幾特別的意大利餐廳,就入去試試,入去見到有海景,唔錯唔錯! 服務員好有笑容,好warm。 麵包十個好吃! 外層香脆,裡面卻外層香脆,裡面十分軟熟。同一般的餐廳與別不同 蕃茄湯-特別香濃,好有蕃茄味。 煙肉芝士蛋汁意大利粉 –很濃很香的芝士味,意大利粉香滑而且弹牙。 朱古力軟心- 朱古力味香濃,外脆內軟,中間朱古力醬湧出來,滿足滿足!will be back!!

蕃茄湯-特別香濃,好有蕃茄味。

煙肉芝士蛋汁意大利粉 –很濃很香的芝士味,意大利粉香滑而且弹牙。

朱古力軟心- 朱古力味香濃,外脆內軟,中間朱古力醬湧出來,滿足滿足!

will be back!!
