兩款甜品只試咗招牌奶凍,味道都可以,牛奶味的確幾濃郁。

I was lucky enough to try some of the dishes I wanted to try for a long time .. however, the "KOCHI style" Straw Roasted Japanese Bonito Carpaccio that I wanted to try the most was out of stock due to Japan’s typhoon 🥲 so I guess I have to come back again, hopefully this dish would stay on the menu for awhile.

I think everything was great, I especially loved the Saba Zushi! The takoyaki was lovely too. All the sashimi dishes were very refreshing. But I wish the portion of the ceviche pasta could be larger, the texture of their cold pasta was chewy and more like Japanese “tsukemen”, which I liked a lot, but just portions too small.
The claypot rice was pretty good but lack of the wow factor, I was hoping there were various kind of seafood, turns out only one type ( Japanese 白飯魚).. a bit pricey for this dish I think..
love the pumpkin flavour Panna cotta, so tasty.

Overall, I think food was unique and innovative, slightly on a pricey side tho.. would like to come back again for the Bonito.

Organic beef & pork hamburger steak!! Look at that heavenly orangey-yellow lava #yolkporn 🥰 The super thick patty is seasoned and cooked perfectly, so juicy and tender as u can see in the clip! The cream sauce compliments the dish very well, very creamy and brings out the flavor of the hamburger steak even more! I want to lick them all off the plate lol, or a bowl of rice would be great too 😝I personally quite like the Mackerel Cheese fritto too, very light and fresh even its a deep fried dish!

I personally quite like the Mackerel Cheese fritto too, very light and fresh even its a deep fried dish! The veggies are all from Chefs farm to the table! The Homemade Tagliolini with octopus and tomato sauce was as expected, not very wow but still good.

This is… another pasta which all of us forgot what it was


Service was alright but when the waiter served food to small plates for 3 of us, the portion each of us got was totally different. We end up had to re-share food among ourselves so everyone gets similar amount…

Heard this restaurant is quite hard to book as they don’t pick up the phone…Turned out they have some good reasons why. Arrived on a Friday evening, being seated at the table along a ‘corridor’ of the restaurant right across the small kitchen. Heard this restaurant is quite hard to book as they don’t pick up the phone…

Turned out they have some good reasons why.

Arrived on a Friday evening, being seated at the table along a ‘corridor’ of the restaurant right across the small kitchen.

There’s really only one front of house staff who’s doing almost everything - explaining the menu, taking orders, filling up beverages, serving, clearing tables and much more…it’s understandably there’s no time for him to pick up the phone to take reservations.

The jumbo blue mussels could really taste the freshness and loving the flavour! I could really use some bread to finish all those leftover sauce.

The much anticipated caviar linguine didn’t disappoint! The prawn americaine sauce in butter was out of this world, love the texture of the linguine - highly recommend to come for this dish alone! The caviar was on point, they added flavour to the dish! Love it!

Octopus-clam risotto was good, a bit too watery to my liking, but there’s this magic I was craving for more after the first few bites. I couldn’t stop eating until I got too full. Most of the dishes were great but I would say the linguine was my favourite of the meal!

Wonder how I got my reservation? I walked in to book as I pass by the restaurant on my way home almost everyday!

西瓜版的Gaspacho ($228) 似乎少見,我尤奇喜歡西瓜的清爽,湯頭比我想像中要酸得多,減膩最好不過了。正好經過了稍為濃味的頭盤後,讓味蕾抖抖。若然burrata可更流心就好了。

阿林💬:等候鮑魚牛油燒 ($198) 時,廚房傳來一波又一波蒜香,作為預演。品嚐過後,蒜蓉牛油果然超香,酒和香料調和了辛辣,buttery and flavourful。鮑魚飽滿,尚算彈牙,墊底的通菜盡吸醬汁精華,非常好吃。我略嫌菜梗過硬,擂沙則覺得沒問題。

輪到主菜,鰯Bucatini ($258) 湧現沙甸魚及烏魚子的鹹香,同時爆發大量刁草和茴香的香氣。Bucatini是明智之選,中空的設計使烏魚子緊緊依附,毋須依靠醬汁,便令每一條意粉擁有豐富味道。沙甸魚和烏魚子味濃,由刁草和茴香來協調最適合不過。各種食材互相輝映,渾然一體。當天因為吃得太飽,沒有好好享受這道菜,反而翌日翻熱後重新欣賞,細味每個巧思,真的覺得好L好味。

雖然主菜打了包,但無阻我們以甜品圓滿這頓飯。可惜的是,Matcha Tiramisu ($128) 成為了最失色之作。三層薄薄的餅乾,中間夾著mascarpone cream,上面灑上抹茶粉及shaved朱古力。整體沒什麼茶香,品嚐每個元素,同樣感受不到抹茶的蹤影,只得芝士的酸,頗為失望。

,但以鮮紅嘅神石榴點綴嘅水牛芝士豐滿厚滑,香濃而不俗,連同清新爽脆嘅生洋蔥及汁多爽潤嘅蕃茄粒粒一齊食落口意外地唔覺酸,此味紅白組口為味蕾帶來前所未有嘅新驚喜

We ordered a total of three pastas from the menu and two starters. The starters were sake steamed clams, pretty average, and a more interesting plate of century egg with spring onions and lettuce. Firefly squids were super fresh and flavourful, does anyone else do the weird thing where I would ration my squid to make sure I get some squidness with every bite? Cod roe was a nice creamy mix that brings out the savory side of the roe. Carbonara looked the best but it paled in comparison. I remembered having rather strong opinions about it but I FORGOT HAHAHAHHA maybe despite the strong yellow colour of the sauce it wasn't actually that thick

Bday marathon dinner - this time with my bff. Always heard about this place where 🛣it’s in between queens road west and Hollywood road (therefore the name). Of course we had to try the famous uni 🍝pasta. If I have to choose, I may still go for dough kitchen’s one just because it’s cheaper and I like their pasta more. But uni wise I do like it here. Great sourcing of 😋ingredients and service! Surprisingly they served their dishes pretty quickly (maybe so I can return the table ASAP lol). HKD 398

It’s my friend’s birthday so we decided to go to this Japanese fusion restaurant near sheung wan. She has been wanting to try their uni pasta so we ordered the uni pasta and the angus beef steak. the uni pasta was filled with uni and the sauce is super creamy and rich. the steak on the other hand was huge and juicy!
