Unbelievable. We ordered a lunch set and finished eating already. Tea and dessert should be served. All the waiters and waitresses only cleaned up the other tables which the guests left already but not ours. It's already 2pm. One came up and asked if we were done, we said yes. She left and cleaned up other tables again. We were left staring at the empty plates for 10 minutes. I finally grabbed one of them and asked if they would clean up and finally. 一直想都想試呢間過江龍,之前喺小紅書見到深圳都有一間分店,好可惜未有得通關,於是決定去香港呢間試吓。一入到去環境都幾舒服,不過同隔離張枱太近。可能係平日夜晚所以呢間餐廳都唔係好滿,好多外國人黎食。頭盤試咗幾味餸,沙律生蠔龍蝦湯同蟹餅。個人認為生蠔幾好,有海水鮮味。沙律就係以蕃茄為主,個汁都幾好食。龍蝦湯就不過不失,叫一份可以分兩碗上。蟹餅就好似燶咗咁,冇咩特別。本來叫咗咁多頭款,唔想食咁多肉,所以淨係點左一份西冷扒。點知廚房嚟錯咗Porterhouse.....見佢一嚟到就諗啲油上去都唔好意思講話其實我哋冇叫到呢個。講真份量真係太多,我哋仲叫咗兩個side dish,根本冇可能食得晒。牛扒質素係不錯,食之前淋啲油上去都好有儀式感。好可惜就係黎錯咗牛扒,貴一倍。。。

從Wolfgang’s貴氣而古典的裝橫來看, 看不出它只有十六七年的歷史, 主理人曾經是紐約傳奇扒房Peter Luger 的老臣子, 所以或多或少也有後者的影子, 例如是厚得如豬扒的煙肉, 以及招牌的Porterhouse. 一個人當然吃不了一整塊Porterhouse, 而午市有菲力或西冷牛扒, 我就選擇了後者. 從價錢和份量之言, 五百多元吃到USDA Prime等級Dry-Aged了二十八天, 驟眼看重量達十安士的西冷, 應該說是物有所值.除了牛扒外, 午餐還有頭盤及甜品. 頭盤的蟹餅蟹肉絲份量多而飽滿, 只是處理的火喉有點怪, 外面似脆不脆, 似稔不稔, 外表帶點焦黑, 但口感好像煎或炸不透. 麵包比頭盤遲到達餐枱上, 軟包太軟, 法包太硬, 熱度和牛油香不足, 不太滿意.幸好西冷牛扒沒有失手, 連骨上的西冷, 在其他扒房甚少見到, 原塊西冷放在高溫的陶瓷碟上斜放, 褐色奶油在碟底, 看起來夠典雅. 首先要稱讚它的火喉拿捏得準, Medium Rare就是Medium Rare, 不會多或少一份, 其次是外表焦脆而咬下去十分清澈, 同樣是火喉掌握得好的表現. 肉香豐盈而肉質比

甜品的紐約芝士蛋糕味道與質感和一般西式餐廳吃的分別不大, 沒有留下太多深刻的印象. 總括而言, 單從牛扒質素方面來說, 它應該獲得更多好評, 但無奈其他周邊做得不夠好, 逐少逐少扣分, 令它在香港的評價不太突出, 這就有點可惜.

For two嘅份量其實非常之大!又大塊又厚身。T bone一邊係牛柳, 一邊係西冷。
牛扒外脆焦香,上啲嘅時候依然聽到啲油吱吱聲😛 我哋揀咗medium rare, 裡面啲肉好粉嫩嫩滑。

首先試咗牛柳嗰邊,已經覺得同平時食嘅牛肉好唔同,牛味香好多。
之後試埋西冷嗰邊,wow 牛味好濃郁!😮 嗰種味似係風乾肉嘅感覺。簡單講係聯想起ham, 不過今次係牛 😆 真係未食過咁濃嘅牛味,原來dry-aged就係令到啲牛味再集中啲。

至於前菜,我哋揀咗crab cake同埋龍蝦湯。Crab cake好足料,每啖都係絲絲蟹肉。點埋個醬食亦都好夾。

甜品味道都唔錯,只係個人比較鍾意酒味濃啲嘅,所以唔算係最喜歡嘅版本。

呢度嘅裝修好classic好大體, 氣氛唔錯,而且好闊落。節日嘅晚餐食係幾好嘅選擇。

因為平日去食, 所以得4 、5檯食客,加上餐廳本身大, 所以坐同食都好舒服,裝修係以皮梳化凳🪑、方型白檯🍽、大量紅酒🍷擺設嘅經典組合,盡顯美式舊派風格

呢個牛扒係我嚟呢間餐廳既最大目的~ 牛扒係經過28天乾式熟成,絕對係經歷咗時間嘅洗禮。第一眼見到就係份量十足,應該夠3個人食,店員介紹一邊係西冷,另一邊係肉眼,可以一次試到兩款扒,兩邊都口感都非常好,肉質好嫩滑,外面有少少焦香,外脆內軟食,一邊食仲一邊聞到牛肉香味,如果嚟食一定要試下

芝士味濃郁,份量唔多,但食落好飽肚,不過可惜嘅係佢嘅龍蝦🦞唔似Crab cake咁足料,唔刻意搵都唔覺自己有食到😟

蛋糕本身結實,芝士味濃郁,香濃幼滑,食落好似有D海鹽味,但唔會太甜太漏🤎

另外叫咗2杯mocktail ,不過味道唔算太特別,所以唔多加推介了😛

價錢貴真係偶爾一次可以了🤣,但食物質素十分高,特別係牛扒,暫時可以話我食過最好食既一次,大家有機會可以去試下~🥰

味道唔錯,重點係裡頭啲蕃茄超好味超甜
略嫌豬肉有啲硬,但正體算是十分唔錯,可以一試👍🏻

食到蟹肉絲的口感,不過入口後蟹肉餅會散開令口感有點失色👀
最正係後面個醬,每一啖都塗滿醬😋

點餐時被問要幾份,先有意識係一條條的上
好彩當機立斷,只點一份試試
上菜就真係一隻白碟,其他咩都無😂
入口第一時間聯想到叉燒,口感我覺得太乾而且有點硬,肉亦不夠香

不過個人認為港式蜜汁叉燒口感好得多😂

嚟依度就是為咗佢哋嘅牛扒,佢哋嘅牛扒係美國直送,再乾式熟成28日,上枱時啲油仲

當一塊牛扒要$13XX時,你會有所期待,真的!好失望😞
上枱時無看覺得特別香,唔緊要,起碼見到肉嫩
點了三成熟,但好好奇點解外面咁黑
一開始還可以的,慢慢食到近骨嘅位置時開始出現問題了,外層是苦㗎!
然後慢慢肉啲口感開始會變得霉霉的
我們估係佢哋之後再碳燒過火咗,但肉質變霉就唔明啦😅

首先無諗過係咁,如果依個係佢平時水準,我覺得totally overpriced
其實網上評價都好壞參半,希望佢只係一時失手,但返轉頭再食就唔會了

侍應反映兩碟牛肉 "聞落怪怪地", 侍應拎返去同廚師確認,好快返嚟話會重新煮過要等一等。兩碟side dish 繼續陪伴我地等待嘅旅程。

咁最近疫情,我都明白可能餐廳去貨有少少慢,雖然內心覺得廚師侍應拎塊肉比我哋嘅路程上應該要聞到同發現到唔妥,所以私心覺得佢哋係知道但係特登照serve,但係都俾個機會佢。

最後發現,呢個機會都晒咗

侍應大概10分鐘之後拎咗2碟新肉嚟。size我肉眼覺得縮水?(大概少咗一到兩刀),而其實大家都睇到上圖第一次嗰碟都唔係大。 

『有豐富廚房經驗嘅屋企人』個碟變返正常! 係正常牛肉味!

我嗰碟 ... 氣味細咗 ... == 食咗一啖,確認唔係我心理上形住而係味道上都係個陣「怪味」。食多啖確認,個種「怪味」充滿我嘅口腔同食道,即刻放棄

侍應收碟嘅時候有問,我哋都有反映一碟得一碟唔得(都好明顯啦,手板咁細塊都剩番手板咁細塊)

甜品都係街邊貨色,焦糖燉蛋,我哋叫咗兩杯餐茶,d奶一杯熱一杯凍 ... 另外餐具求其擺,我就正常刀叉放左右,『有豐富廚房經驗嘅屋企人』嗰set就好似茶餐廳咁刀叉一切求其放係一邊...

雖然我覺得餐廳侍應大多有禮貌,但係唔知係咪餐廳覺得我哋使用優惠唔係好算人類,無人同我哋表達任何歉意,一句都無。

Very cosy environment with opus one bottles on demonstration. The color tone is very matching American style here.For appetizer, 🦀 cake is the prioritized choice hereWe ordered the beef burger and petit filet mignon as mains.Very very tender mignon ,will be good choice if you can tolerate the bigger size rib eye or sirlon .lunch

呀, 佢入面的芝士唔乾睜睜, 好味
不過龍蝦又比其他餐廳比下去了, 但通粉正正經經用最common 的,所以好好味, 夠琳夠芝~

We tried there Lunch Menu during HK Restaurant Week.ServiceGreeted by the receptionist whom took us to our table. Once we sat down, we were presented with the menus, but no introduction nor explanation of the menu was given to us. The only (initial) interaction we had with the servers were them asking whether we wanted still or sparkling water. No recommendation was given to us when we ordered our food. No wine pairing recommendation was offered neither. It felt like we were in a cheap restauran

Service

Greeted by the receptionist whom took us to our table. Once we sat down, we were presented with the menus, but no introduction nor explanation of the menu was given to us. The only (initial) interaction we had with the servers were them asking whether we wanted still or sparkling water. 
No recommendation was given to us when we ordered our food. No wine pairing recommendation was offered neither. It felt like we were in a cheap restaurant. 

During the service, servers put down the food and left the table. There was no interaction. They did not give us an introduction to the food - how it was made, where the ingredients were from, how to best enjoy the dish, etc. None of those existed. Again, it felt like we were at a cheap local restaurant. 

Overall, the service was not good at all - not for a high end restaurant anyways. It is surprising and unbelievable that this restaurant was opened by Wolfgang Zweiner whom claimed himself had been a Head Waiter at a New York restaurant for 40 years.
It was a disappointment.

Decor

The restaurant was very spacious and the decor is what you would expect of of a proper steakhouse. However, as we looked up the ceiling we noticed large mouldy patches coming out from the vents and large  water patches (probably due to leaking) on the ceiling. Definitely deteriorated our appetite.
Just hope they do not put you at a table directly under these patches.

Taste

We ordered the following: Soup of the Day (Wild Mushroom Soup with Truffle Oil. You guessed it. We had to call the server back to ask what he had just served us), Crab Cake, Dry-Aged Beef Sandwich, Grilled Seabass with Tomato Salsa, Dessert of the Day (Creme Brûlée. Again, we weren't told what it was).

Everything tasted bland. We had to add quite a bit of salt to get the taste out of it. 

Mushroom soup -  Strong taste of mushroom, which was great. But it was very bland.
 
Crab Cake - It was average. Nothing extraordinary

Dry-Aged Beef Sandwich - The meat was well cooked for the sandwich. It is probably one of the better dish we had. I am not surprised as we are in a steakhouse, beef should be their forte. But were we wowed by it? Definitely not!

Seabass - The fish was dry and bland. The salsa didn't taste like salsa. 

Creme Brûlée - The top layer of caramelised sugar was very hard to break. The custard itself was too thick a hard to our liking


Overall

Our experience was mediocre at best. We did not feel like we went to a high end restaurant. Service we received was more like local mid-tier type of restaurant at best. The look and feel of the restaurant was what you'd expect from a proper steakhouse. Just do not look at the ceiling then you will be fine. The food was not great for our visit to the restaurant. Perhaps that is because we did not have any steak. Hopefully the steak would be able to keep their customers happy. 

Unfortunately, we would not recommend this place to any of our friends. You are better off spending that money elsewhere where you will get proper service and food.

We went to Wolfgang’s Steakhouse for New Year Eve dinner with a high expectation of quality food and experience. We ordered the salad, crab cake, and the porterhouse in medium-rare. The porterhouse was overpriced and overdone. We also found pieces of crab shell in the crab cake which was definitely unacceptable. After expressing the issue to the staff, they told us that it was “cartilage” and rejected to admit their fault. With the poor quality of food and service, I would not return to this res
