not too many choice at TKS for congee shop....this one is new and is the cheapest among all...we have ordered a take out (self pick up) and the waitress told me the last order is 945pm...i told her i will be there around 10pm...we arrived at 955pm and everything is ready and they are waiting for us so that they can close....i have ordered a "pig's liver腸粉" ($16)...lots of livers inside but it looks pink (a bit rare)...i thought it would taste smooth but in fact it taste very rough and old...i guess its the quality of the liver which made it taste like that...(as the pinkish color told me its not over-cooked)there are some ginger slices inside which i didnt expected...it makes the 腸粉 taste better but i just dislike ginger..:the quantity is much more than i expected so after eating that i am full already and need to save my congee for later....i ordered a 皮蛋"au"肉粥(beef) ($19)....lots of 皮蛋 but only found 1 ball size of minced beef inside...the congee taste good..its soft and tasty....at least its not salty....but the size is pretty tiny....i think i may need 2 bowls of that...my colleague bought a 炸両 ($13)..thought it wont taste too good as we have to walk 10mins before we can eat it...i opened it up and touched it...the 油條 inside is not too soft and not too hard....then i stole one and taste it...ummm...yummy~~油條 has no oily taste...and the texture is just right~~~~~then i stole another piece....and another piece...wahaha...he also ordered a 蜜汁叉燒腸粉 ($16), he told me the taste is very good and the texture of 叉燒 is soft and its tasty.....he also got a 皮蛋瘦肉粥 but he told me he can only find 2 slices of 瘦肉.....o.....but he is still pleased as he found lots of 皮蛋 inside...(its being chopped into small pieces)...he said to me that he thinks they put a whole egg in there b/c there are really lots of it...overall, i think i will come back for it as its cheaper than "wah cheong" or the congee shop at foodcourt inside TKS plaza...even though its a bit far from where we are but i think it still worth me walking 10mins to get the take out~

太座想去太古坊看九龍皇帝的文字樂園,在家吃過早餐後,便徒步前往,看完已是下午二時了,又是時候要補充,路經此店,有粥有腸粉,很對胃口。我們點了蠔仔肉碎蘑菇粥,蜜汁叉燒腸粉,鹹肉粽。最先送來的是鹹肉粽,碟上已淋了豉油,但個人較喜歡加白沙糖,加了豉油,感覺太咸,粽子都是綠豆肉,鹹豆黃做餡,平實,無特別。蜜汁叉燒腸粉,腸粉皮拉得不過不失,叉燒卻不見蜜汁,做腸粉不是蜜汁更好,以免太甜。蠔仔肉碎蘑菇粥,粥底似住家煲的粥,不是綿是稠,蠔仔和肉碎味道一般,最敗筆是放了罐頭蘑菇,無味之餘還影響整體質素,其次是芫茜煮得太耐,變黑了。是一間還有很多進步空間的店。

粥的味道比較淡...而油條應該放了很久...顏色太深色...不夠脆和香...試一次就夠...不會再光顧...只是地點方便所以才會去試一下...如果真的想吃味道好的粥...會SUGGEST 去池記...

My firsty entry here! Chinese not that good.... 請多多指教 This place's been there for quite a few months.. and its close to my workplace so i finally decided to go and try.Menu had a good selection, food was affordable, and congee was better than expected. (Note: not many good lunch options in the area).I had:1.) Yau Ja Guai : It was crunchy... obviously freshly made. Loved it.2.) Soya bean milk : Average.. nothing special.3.) 艇仔粥 : Lots of ingredients... very satisfying!Will definitely go back and nix time i promise i will take pix and upload them...

有晚走過黎, 本想去試剛轉了手的 Taco Truck, 不過走走下不知覺地行咗去太古城道在 Epoch 的隔幾間舖, 也搵到間新開的粥店: 滿粥 看外面已有雜誌的介紹文篇,見到有我喜歡食的雞粥,就俾吸引了入去! 生滾雲吞鮮姑滑雞粥 - 先說粥,是用豬骨跟幾隻材料一同煲成湯底,再加三種米坎成了粥底,後就再用這粥底做成生滾粥. 粥底的米煲得很棉,是很自然那種,可以話係罕見的高水準. 好可惜後勁不再.所謂的鮮雞數量又少,食落又已經煮到過晒火好好好好鞋. 但最大問題係那雞本身又無味,但亦唔覺粥裡殘留有雞或雞油味. 雲吞皮須厚, 但也一夾即穿,內裡的蝦是給攪碎了有少少蝦膠 feel, 真的奇怪兼唔好食. 3/5 炸両 - 是新鮮包的,但好快變凍了. 油條硬蹦蹦,所以真係都幾掃興下. 幸好這裡還有真正的芝麻醬, 不會像大部份店求其開稀一支花生醬就當係芝麻, 混水摸魚. 始終芝麻醬夠香, 會同腸粉系夾多點!! 3.5/5 ******************************滑雞粥來說,這裡會是有 potential 的, 但現時還需要努力一點. 下次黎, 可能齌食白粥會多點 satisfaction?
