as much as i dislike this restaurant because the food is gross, my husband enjoys the steamed fish there as he's a fanatic (we don't know any other place that offers it around here).

my husband went in first and he ordered a steamed fish, rice and hot lemon tea (all separate items). i went in later to order a pork chop bun tea set with hot horlicks. the horlicks never came and i figured i would just use it as my husband's hot lemon tea (a common practice in all tea restaurants).

when we went to pay i told the lady that's what happened and she said that i couldn't just combine like that, i was like what? every tea restaurant lets you do that. ugh whatever. then she started yelling at me for not listening because she will take it off but wont next time. i said yeh ok, just give me my change. then the boss guy comes along, the cashier lady told him and he kept saying how my husband ordered the tea on its own. i said well every other tea restaurant lets you combine and my drink didn't even come. he said no-one knew of my order and put the blame on ME that i should've followed up (??!!!). as i said i didn't follow up because i decided to combine my meal with my husband's hot lemon tea.

so at this moment, both the owner(?) and the cashier were shouting at me and i just wanted to get out of there, i was like knocking on the table with my money and said 'just give me my change!' then the owner went ballistic and started screaming at me (paraphrasing) 'what? just because you are paying doesn't mean you are the boss! coming here and causing trouble! dont take her money, just it to them for free, she's a dog' as i was still waiting for my change he went on about me causing trouble, i was like 'seriously, do you think i intentionally come out to cause a big argument over one drink?!' and i said i'm calling the police.

i called the police and waited outside, and as i waited, i realised i didn't have the receipt. so i went back in to get it. she gave me the receipt without the extra drink and i asked to have the original one, she didn't give it to me. by this time, the owner has come over again, leaning on me and spat on me with his mouthful of rice telling me to get out. i yelled at everyone to look that he's threatening me.

we were outside and he told us to get out of the way, i was obviously livid at this point and started yelling 'this is public road! why cant we stand here?!!!' he then proceeded to tell me i'm a dog and started barking at me!!

then the police finally came, and i told them my story. at the end they refused to do anything and just told me not to visit again!!! this is ridiculous. i can't believe some people can get away with such savage behaviour. i honestly have no idea why they are still here because their food is absolutely overpriced, taste really bad and they clearly have no respect for anyone - per the reviews before mine.
