The cha siu was average at best, and certainly not worth the high price tag. Additionally, the deep-fried squid was a complete letdown. It bore no resemblance to the appetizing dish depicted in their promotional photos, and the taste was bland, greasy, and barely tolerable. As for the vegetables, they were cooked in a peculiar manner, resulting in a watery consistency that was far from the ordinary vegetable dishes I have encountered. While not expecting perfection, it is disheartening that even a simple dish of vegetables could not be prepared properly. The cost of this dish was 138 HKD, but its quality was more in line with a 20 HKD dish. It was truly disappointing.
Lastly, when we casually inquired about the availability of a sweet soup for dessert, the waitress informed us that it had all been served. This was perplexing, as we were the first table of the evening, and I wondered who on earth had been served before us. Nevertheless, this incident, although concerning, is not a significant issue in comparison to the overall experience.
In conclusion, I strongly discourage individuals seeking a fine dining experience from visiting this restaurant. It is nothing more than a food court masquerading as an upscale establishment with exorbitant prices.
