Natural Chiffon is a cupcake shop originally found in Mong Kok. But over the years, it expanded. I tried them once when they were in PMQ but that shop closed after a while. But then I found them again in Causeway Bay. Apparently, they have opened a new shop in this area. I decided to bring some cupcakes for my night shift team during our break.Natural Chiffon is a local bakery that sells cupcakes. Their cupcakes are not as sweet and use only all natural ingredients. Natural Chiffon is a local bakery that sells cupcakes. Their cupcakes are not as sweet and use only all natural ingredients. That means they do not use food coloring. Are they healthier? Well ... they definitely do not skimp on the butter.
The shop is not very big but they have a number of cupcakes on display. Cupcake names are displayed in English and Chinese.
They have 21 cupcake flavors to choose from long with any seasonal items. You can also pre-order as well for large order cupcakes and cakes as well.
As there were three of us working that night, I bought three. They were securely places in a sturdy cardboard box. Each cupcake costs $20.
Sizes of the cupcakes weren't as big as other places but wow ... were they buttery and moist. The raspberry cupcake was a basic vanilla cupcake with a raspberry buttercream frosting. The buttercream was smooth and not too sweet. There was a slight taste of raspberry but not a lot.
The chocolate cupcake was the best of the three. The cupcake had a rich chocolate taste and the most moist of all three. The chocolate frosting was smooth and creamy with a deep chocolate flavor.
This one was blueberry. It was definitely the cute with the little bee on top. It also used a vanilla cupcake base. The frosting was a blueberry buttercream. Very rich with a strong blueberry taste.
The cupcakes were a hit at work. They were really well done and not too sweet at all. Would come back if I wanted another treat.
