We got the set for 2: 2 appetizers (hot or cold), 2 mains, 2 soups or drinks. For our first appetizer we got hummus, which comes with pita. The pita looked like it was made with some type of whole grains, and it was very grain-y and mealy and dry, and I didn't particularly care for it. I could eat it with the hummus, but I only ate one of my two pieces, so there you go.

I liked the hummus, it had a good flavor, smooth and creamy.

Our second appetizer was the fatoush salad, with tomatoes, cucumbers, black olives, and fried pita. I actually liked the pita a lot here. It was crispy and tangy with the vinaigrette dressing. Kinda like how I'm never that big on corn tortillas, but corn tortilla chips are great.

The first main dish was the lamb shawarma. It was OK. Not quite as crispy as I like it, I kinda doubt they have the rotating upright spits in the back. They also drenched it in sauce-- I prefer to put my own sauce on, thank you. Shawarma is always good, so this wasn't bad, it just fell short of the ideal.

The waffle fries were, however, excellent. Firm, crisp, and glistening, piping hot, and excellently seasoned. They might be the frozen kind, but that doesn't make them any less perfect.

The second main was a chicken breast stuffed with spinach and cheese and served with a cream sauce and rice. (You can get rice or fries with any main.) The chicken was a little dry and tough, but once I cut it up and mixed it with the spinach and rice and slathered it with sauce, the whole thing came together pretty well. I didn't notice much of a cheesiness to it-- I was expecting something bold like feta. Still, I thought the dish was decent, and the spinach was nice as our other main had no vegetables.

You can add dessert to the meal, and we did. This was the assorted Arabic desserts (or something like that). Sugary and dense and flaky.

The food here is alright. You get a lot of it, and it's at a reasonable price. But it's not amazing and I'll still have to look around for my go-to place.
