I went there with my parents for lunch. I asked for a quiet table when making the reservation the night before, and was given the booth at the farthest corner away from the door, so it was nice and quiet. We decided to try the abalone buns, but they were not worth recommending. The buns themselves had a bit too much sugar on the coating, making them too sweet. We decided to try the abalone buns, but they were not worth recommending. The buns themselves had a bit too much sugar on the coating, making them too sweet. We could see the tiny cubes of abalone inside with some onion, but in fact the \'abalone\' could have been anything, because there was no taste of abalone at all. At more than $14 a piece, this dish is not value for money.
The other dim sums were good. The dumplings had nice, clear skins. The dish of vegetables was a bit below standard - not fully cooked and therefore still had a tough texture.
Service was very good. The waitresses all had smiles and seemed genuinely happy to serve. My parents are in their 80s, and everybody made a point of asking them to be careful when they stepped into the booth, or when we went to the rest rooms. All in all, a delightful dining experience.
