My sister got the coupon 3 coupons of $200 value and we went there to try, 3 of us.Once I stepped out the lift, I had the feeling of REGRET Waiters look sleepy and no intention to serve, They put the oysters fridge just next to the washroom entrance. After we seated, we immediately ordered some oysters.I ordered 2 USA and 2 Australian, and asked the waiter which France oyster was better of that day. The waiter said he doesn't know. Okay, I picked another 2 from France. (not everyone is expert but how come their owner/manager not giveing them a little knowledge, at least enough for greeting customers?)
We gave them the coupon, another waiter said, if you use coupon, we have to charge original price for the oysters you just ordered. I don't mind paying more, however, the "Prices" that listed in the oyster fridge and on the menu are supposed the "original price", there is no "discount" sign anywhere. They said they have to charge 50% more on the price listed in the menu....anyway....
When we are ready to order, I have been waving my hand for oer 3 minutes before someone willing to come over (I'm talking about willing to, not notice because they noticed me but not coming over)
We ordered seafood chowder, ceasar salad for appetizers. The soup was even worse than canned soup, the cream was stick together, not even melted, and there is NO seafood inside. The salad was not fresh!
We order penne in foie gras sauce, seafood risotto and risotto with mushroom. Very honestly, it's fast-food chain quality, charging a hundred something for a dish for this, OMG!
They missed the order of risotto with mushroom, there was a guy dressed like the restaurant manager and I told me to follow up; he's okay. However, 5 minutes later, a waitress gave me a dish that we did not order, I told her that this was not we ordered, and asked her to give me the menu that I could clarify which one was missed. She just turned around and left, without one word.
After 10 minutes, kept waving my hands, finally got another waiter, who is willing to notice me and prepare our last dish.
Billing time, I REMINDED them that I have given them the $600 cash coupon earlier, they still gave me the billing without deducting it. Careless or cheating? When I asked the waitress, she said, "Oh, okay, then you do the calculation and pay the rest" ....OMG!!!!! I pay and I need to do your Cashier work!
The ONLY good thing is, the Filipino live performance was good, he played around the classic songs.
SUGGESTIONS:
1. Move the oysters fridge to somewhere in the restaurant, rather than near the washroom entrance/lift area
2. Train the waiters and waitress, at least the willingness to serve.
3. Train or hire a better Chef, and set the menu to some dishes that the Chef can do well.
