Went to Tea Saloon yesterday for a second time on Dec 28, 2013 with two visiting Japanese friends. Though a little pricy ($5xxHKD for a teaset for two), for its food quality and ambience I would consider it worthwhile. Me and my friends spent about $9xxHKD that day on a tea set and an all-day breakfask. We were happy with our food.
題外話/補充資料:
However, servicewise we think the cafe needs improvement. In particular with the way timeslots are handled. Our check was handed to us close to the end of our timeslot and we were made to feel quite uneasy. However, seeing there were a few empty tables around, we eventually stayed one hour past the end of our timeslot during which we were approached twice by staff that we should return our table soon. We had expressed our dissatisfaction to the manager there (not sure if he was the manager?) that it was impolite to handle the timeslot thing like that. And it was returned with an apology. Therefore, personally we have our reservations about going again.
