Salted lemon with sprite - It was gassy and refreshing, with strong lemon taste going well with the Sprite.
Pig stomach with salted vegetables and pepper soup - It was served in a big soup, with plenty of ingredients in it. It was peppery in taste, and salted vegetables was boiled till soft. Beancurd was soft and juicy and pig stomach was chewy and juicy, absorbing the essence of the soup.
Steamed prawns with vermicelli and garlic - This is one of my favourite dishes and prawns were fresh and sweet, with garlic helping to enhance the taste. Vermicelli was soft and smooth as well, with generous portion in it.
Steamed eel in black bean sauce - It was very flavourful, with plenty of black bean sauce used in cooking. Eel was cooked till chewy, with some brittle bones in it. It was juicy too, absorbing the black bean sauce.
Beef cube and potato in honey sauce - The 'wok hei' was strong and flavourful, with the beef tender and juicy. Potato was cooked till soft and sweet, with strong honey sauce in it.
Steamed scallop with vermicelli and garlic - Scallop was same as the prawn, sweet and fresh in taste. It was chewy and huge in size as well, with the garlic bringing out the flavour.
