Great food although the cleaniness is questionable

Although a bit dirty and run down inside, they do serve actually good quality noodles/food. This time, I ordered mild spicy (Which is already pretty spicy) noodles with fish balls, beef slices and pig intestines. The broth has a strong spice type of taste (somewhat like Sichuan where it's not insanely spicy but you feel the tingling buzzing sensation from the spice). This time, I ordered mild spicy (Which is already pretty spicy) noodles with fish balls, beef slices and pig intestines. The broth has a strong spice type of taste (somewhat like Sichuan where it's not insanely spicy but you feel the tingling buzzing sensation from the spice). Noodles are chewy and the ingredients are perfectly cooked (fish balls are pretty standard but not too bad with great taste and texture, beef slices are perfectly cooked with the right balance of tenderness and taste and the pic intestines were soft yet maintained a bit of bite to them and most importantly cleaned properly!). I also ordered a side of potatoes (whcih I expected would be the normal shredded spicy potatoes) but in fact were mashed potatos lol. The potatoes were pretty creamy but I question if they are "instant" potatoes instead of freshly made mashed potatoes. THe restaurant interior is nothing to look at, simple/minimal decoration. Staff are very nice (I asked for some extra peanuts in my noodles and was given them) consisting of two workers manning the restaurant. No free tea/water is serves so you have to purchase a drink to quench your thirst. Quite a few patrons actually get their food to go. During lunch time, they are constrained to having seats in their restaurant (seating at most 12 people) but tend to put out tables on the street late at night. Will definiteley visit more often.
