I love lobster rolls. I've gone around to many different places in Hong Kong to try them, including Pop It in Tai Hang and Butchers club Frites in Central and Fishsteria was next on the list. The lobster roll at Fishsteria is on the bar menu downstairs along with a (surprisingly good) wagyu steak roll that my friends thoroughly enjoyed. Upstairs has a separate much more elaborate menu. Downstairs was more casual, with lobster rolls, wagyu steak rolls, and calamari on the menu to name a few thing

Ever since my first lobster roll in San francisco I have always had an eye out for a good lobster roll in Hong Kong and I think I may have found it at Fishsteria. Although Butchers Club Frites' roll was very good, it was a little too much bread and not quite enough lobster. It was still good, and I'd definitely go back, but maybe after I try some others first. As for Popit, well, it wasn't quite the style I was looking for.
For a lobster roll, the bread needs to be slightly sweet and toasted, and Fishsteria did just that using a sweeter brioche style bun which was toasted in the downstairs stone/brick oven. As for the lobster portion, it was, very good and filling. I'll definitely be back next time for a lobster roll craving, and would definitely recommend it to friends.
As for the steak roll, I didn't try it, but it smelled delicious. Same bun as the lobster roll, but it came with thinly cut wagyu steak and caramelized onions. That smell...was heavenly (unless you're a vegetarian.) My friend loved the steak roll, and everything was so good that we were done with the food before we knew what happened.
The drinks were also pretty good, they have an oyster martini which comes with an oyster but I'm not much of an oyster fan. From what I heard, the oyster martini was good. I prefer whisky cocktails and chose the Blood and Sand. My mouth liked it.
Fishsteria is a definite repeat on my list.
題外話/補充資料:
Set lunch is a great deal. Under 200 for a starter, steak roll, and gelato.
