Visiting after 9am with a crazy long queue ending up didnt try out last time, we purposely visited at 7ish am this week. Restaurant was already busy, at least no queue yet. Staff were busy and loud. Seats were close to each other. Sofa seats even cracked and taped. Restaurant was designed in white with fun cartoon/ comics drawings hanging. We requested pan fried pork loin burger, scrambled egg, honey pancake, hash brown and smoked salmon tomato sandwich.
I wasn't as hungry as usual, so sandwich size was just right. Smoked salmon wasn't on a salty side while topped with cracked black peppers which was a bonus. Tomatoes were fresh. Despite the whole sandwich filling looked red, it was fresh and light to eat. If you are a hungry eater, this definitely can't fill you up.
Pan fried pork loin burger was savoury and meaty. Scrambled egg was smooth and creamy. It was a good scrambled egg and on a big portion. Hash brown was crispy and hot but on a greasy side. Tasted oily as it seems did not drain after deep fry. Pancake was topped with a dollop of butter and soaked with honey. Honey was a bit too much for us as both edge of hash brown and scrambled egg were soaking with honey. Just a normal pancake. It was light and on a cakey side. There's also a side leafy salad served. Neither soggy nor with heavy salad dressing. It's alright.
Both the fresh brew black americano and ice milk tea we ordered was on a watery blend side. Couldnt taste much of the tea flavour from the milk tea so as not much coffee flavour even it was a black fresh brew coffee. I guess drink wasn't their selling point.
Overall, it's a hassle dining experience as staff were running around rushing the orders. Food was alright while seating was a bit uncomfortable. Not a place to chill long but a quick grab.
