I haven’t written a food review in a long time but what prompted me to be writing this one is the restaurant’s high-quality yet affordable food which came with a surprise. I have been ordering takeout for the better half of June since the third wave of COVID-19 battled Hong Kong. I have been ordering takeout for the better half of June since the third wave of COVID-19 battled Hong Kong. I ordered from this restaurant for the first time - Hainan Chicken Rice and Chicken Noodles.
I’ve ordered so many Chicken Rice takeaways around the area. This one is the best I’ve had because the rice was still soft and edible and hadn’t turned cold despite the delivery taking place. (You will be surprised how often the delivery time can mess up the rice.)
What surprised me though was the soup base of the Chicken noodles which reminded me of the one I ate in the Bangkok Chatuchak market. They sure have their secret recipe.
