Finally there's a decent Korean bbq restaurant in Yuen Long, I don't need to go far for Korean bbq. My friend tried the one in Mong Kok and said it was very nice. Therefore, when I found out that they are opening a shop here, I asked my friend to go with me. It was 7pm and the restaurant was full of people. There were a few couples waiting already but luckily I made a booking. Once we got our seat, the waiter brought us lots of side dishes such as salad, raw onion, bean sprout and kimichi etc. T
Once we got our seat, the waiter brought us lots of side dishes such as salad, raw onion, bean sprout and kimichi etc. There were lots of dinner set to choose from and we ordered the "beef and pork". This set includes different types of beef, pork, seafood, sushi roll, dessert and drinks. The staff suggested us to order the blue lemonade and hongchoade because they seem to be very popular so far. The blue lemonade tasted like lime soda and hongchoade tasted like strawberry jelly to me. They were both very nice drinks. The staff then came with the beef sushi roll. When they arrived, they were raw beef, the staff will ask you the cooking level; since me and my friend don't really like raw beef, we asked for medium well. The staff heated them up right next to us, when they were about ready, they will put the peanut butter sauce on them. These rolls tasted so nice! The beef was so soft and easy to chew, they actually melted in my mouth. I really like the taste of the beef with the peanut butter sauce. After that, the staff poured the egg mixture in the bbq-pan gutter for us. When the food arrived, I quickly cook the beef and pork skirt meat. The beef was so yummy, we didn't need to dip them in any sauce to eat them. They were marinated in a special sauce. Beef was soft and easy to chew. The pork skirt meat was my favourite, they were so soft and tender. I love their seasoning. I then cooked the marinated beef prime ribs, the beef was so tender as well. They had a strong taste of pepper and soya sauce. I love the texture of the beef, they were so soft and easy to chew. We started to eat the egg on the side before they were over-cook, they actually tasted very nice with the kmichi. We then cooked the prawns, mushrooms and sausages. The sausages had cheese inside and they were a bit salty. The mushrooms tasted so nice and smell so good while cooking. The prawns were tasteless so we dipped them in the chilli sauce. The scallops were so big and fresh, there were lots of garlic and mayo on top of the scallop, to our surprise, the mayo actually match well with the scallop. I really like the flavour. The clams had a strong taste of pepper and the mussels were quite chewy. But my favourite was the oyster with cheese. There were lots of spices in cheese such as sweet corns, mayo and rosemary. The oyster tasted so nice with the cheese. To finish off, we got the Halloween bloody snow ice as dessert. It was actually milky snow ice with strawberries sauce inside and oreo cookies on the outside. The two scary fingers and scary eye were actually white chocolate biscuits. The snow ice was very thin, it melted in my mouth within a second. It would be better if they put a thicker layer of the oreo cookes.
