Meeting boyfriend for lunch, I ended up getting lost and gettng off the bus a bit early. Instead of heading to Kowloon City, I ended up in To Kwa Wan so boyfriend had to come find me as I was lost. Thus, we ende up eating in this area. Looking about, we just ended up here as we saw they offered tea sets for only $28.Menu is in English and Chinese. There is no 10% service charge. Menu is in English and Chinese. There is no 10% service charge. You also have to ask for the tea set menu otherwise they only give you the regular a la carte one which costs more money. The tea set includes one small size rice of noodle, three mini appetizers and a drink.

For boyfriend's appetizer, he chose deep fried tofu with bonito flakes, fried plum fries and fried salt chicken nuggets. The nuggets were pretty salty but at least the meat was moist and tender. The fries were fluffy with a nice coating of plum powder. The tofu was the best of all. Very soft on the inside and crisp on the outside.
For my appetizer, I chose the fried salt chicken, Taiwanese sausage and pork intestine. The sausage was ok. But the pork intestine was really not that great. Soggy and not much flavor except for this strange blob of sauce on top.
Boyfriend chose the small bowl of soy meat rice. When it said small, it really was small. The rice was ok but the little blob of meat was just not enough for the amount of rice provided. It was also very salty.
I had the small dry noodle with sesame sauce. This was a bit bigger in portion size than the meat. It was ok but not much sesame taste. Just a lot of soy sauce flavor.
The food was ok but at $28, one can't complain too much as it was super cheap. The drinks we ordered were great though. Just a regular ice lemon tea was strong enough with a good balance of lemon and sugar syrup. Probably won't come back but it truely is cheap.
