I would not really have bothered to write this but for my unpleasant experience.Joined their sake tasting event in a Saturday afternoon. The lounge was small, and they were overbooked. Joined their sake tasting event in a Saturday afternoon. The lounge was small, and they were overbooked. So some customers ended up standing throughout the event i.e. 2 hours. Some customers were seated like sardines, and sharing table with strangers with no partition.
The price was a lot higher than another sake event in PMQ, but the choices were more limited. I was given tokens toredeem a few tasting portions from the 15 sake they serve. I also had one “full glass token” to redeem my favourite sake. “Food” was included. These were pickles that do not go along with the sake. No water was provided although that was a tasting event.
I was drinking slowly. When I presented my full glass token, a few minutes after the scheduled end time of the event, they said “time is up” and refused to give me a full glass, that I was entitled to! They would only pour me a small tasting portion. I was not told about this rule in advance. Anyway there was another hour to the next session so I cannot see why they set this rule.
Overall a mismatch between price and reasonable standards. Definitely not recommended.
