read the many good reviews at openrice and decide to give it a try. High tea is served from 3-5pm on weekends. When we arrived, no one was there and we had the whole place to ourselves. The service had been excellent from the start. The waitress allowed us to choose the petite cakes from the display window. It was a happy process to choose from the various styles of colorful cakes. The waitor had been very nice and appear whenever we want her assistance. Nice and unpretentious.
The high tea set were served on a special high tea rack, and the setting is very nice. Well actually i came because of this specially designed high tea rack We were hungry (had not had lunch yet) but the tea set is so abundant that, even my husband, as a big eater, said the portion is big. For the taste, I couldn't say its excellent, but still it's quite good.
The tea set ($2xx for two) includes 2 drinks as well. We ordered Latte and Cappacino and both are good.
We fooled around and took many pictures (as no other guests are there) and no one gave us a hard time. Had one fine afternoon. A hidden gem in central !
Because of the white and chic decor, I think it's a good place for wedding parties too!
