Originally went in for lunch dine-in but had been informed that there was no air conditioning so I decided to take out instead. The lunch set menu says lunch sets come with a snack, dessert and drinks. Upon opening the container at home, I was more puzzled to find that the pad Thai only came with ONE deep fried king prawn, the meat of which was slightly soggy (I guess that’s why they deep fried it). The pad Thai was otherwise authentic, came with chilli flakes, sugar and lime. Had a few more strips of egg for added protein (rather pathetic to be honest). Thai milk tea was good too.
It’s a shame that the lunch set was so not value for money. I understand that rent might be expensive but I’d rather be charged a little more for a little more protein than to pay $88 just for a pad Thai with a soggy prawn and a milk tea (and a random Chinese soup which I was given).
I don’t plan to come back again. I’d rather go out to the old Tai Kok Tsui area for Thai food than to eat here where it’s not worth it at all.
