After a long day of work, I have decided to treat my co-workers pizzas and try something new. We decided to try this pizzeria with glowing reviews although the price was not what we would normally spend on pizzas. We ordered 2 pizzas ( pepperoni and Italian sausage), a meat lasagne, a butter chicken and one garlic nann. When we opened the boxes, we were shocked. We ordered 2 pizzas ( pepperoni and Italian sausage), a meat lasagne, a butter chicken and one garlic nann.
When we opened the boxes, we were shocked. The food looked nothing like the photos in FB or anywhere and the worst part was- the pizzas were undercooked, and the tomato sauce tasted pungently sour.
We called the restaurant and reflected the situation immediately. We were afraid of food poisoning after eating undercooked food. The guy on the phone just went, “Well, if you guys ended up with stomachache, you just have to deal with it and there is nothing we will do.”
Looking at our $7XX order with empty stomachs, we recooked the food with a table top oven for another 20 minutes and we ate the food in anger.
Within 30 minutes, my fingers were shaking with orange dye from the butter chicken and I have a sharp pain in my stomach. I used my office washroom immediately and I called the health and food department to open a case.
I am writing to warn those of you who are willing to read and hopefully you will not get ripe off like us ! This is the worst pizza I ever had in Hong Kong and definitely the most irresponsible restaurant. One can only imagine their hygiene standards and ingredients quality.
So please-
don’t pay for stomach full of germs and anger. Don’t support these type of restaurant who couldn’t care less if you have food poisoning and serve you undercooked food.
