My friend took me to dinner at this restaurant for my birthday on May 20th. Unfortunately the experience was quite undesirable.The restaurant is small but has a complete open kitchen. Although I am fine with open kitchen concept, there is absolutely no partition between the kitchen and the dinning tables. The restaurant is small but has a complete open kitchen. Although I am fine with open kitchen concept, there is absolutely no partition between the kitchen and the dinning tables. The closest dinning table was no more than 3 feet away from the kitchen counter. The kitchen ventilation was also very poor, and when the chef was cooking the whole dinning area is full of smoke and aroma. Definitely need to wash and dry clean whatever we were wearing last night.
The ceiling is very low, and one table of four talked quite loud and everyone could hear their conversation in details. Altogether there were only 10 patrons, 4 tables last night.
There was no menu, and everyone got pretty much the same dishes, except you can have a choice of the main course - beef or fish. The food was really mediocre. I didn't know how much it was for a five course set dinner since my friend treated me, I do not believe it worth whatever price the restaurant charged.
The worst of the evening was..my friend ordered a birthday dessert for me, but the restaurant didn't prepare.
Take your chance if you want to try this restaurant. For sure I will not go back again.
