Recently had work in Kowloon Bay and was in the mood for some casual Japanese food, stumbled upon a newly opened izakaya playing Yoasobi music and decided to give it a try.Top pick was the "Grilled Semi-dried Mackerel" dish, which is air-dried overnight (一夜干), resulting in a firm, slightly chewy and salty fish with smoky flavor. The size and preparation offered great value.“Omakase Sushi Platter" included 8 nigiris, such as salmon, tuna, snapper, prawn, yellowtail, octopus, scallop, and grilled

“Omakase Sushi Platter" included 8 nigiris, such as salmon, tuna, snapper, prawn, yellowtail, octopus, scallop, and grilled eel. They were of decent quality and freshness.
I also tried the "Fried Chicken Wings Nagoya-style" or Tebasaki. These were deep-fried and coated in a sticky, sweet, and salty sauce with a spicy kick, making for an interesting flavor.
The "Deep-fried Takoyaki" were a comforting home-style dish, made with batter and diced octopus, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.
If you're feeling hungry, try the "Kimchi Pork Rice". To balance it off, the "Red Pickled Ginger Tempura" is a spicy, crispy, and refreshing option.
