While we were still deciding what to order, they have served us some bread with some salt and butter. The bread is freshly made at the restaurant, as I saw they were preparing the dough there. The bread is hot, thus the butter will melt down quickly and absorbed by the bread. Moreover the bread is crispy on the surface and moisture and soft within, which is in perfect texture.

My boyfriend ordered Aberdeen Royal Flush, I guess he likes the phase for the poker. I was shocked by its stunning appearance, as it was served in a bottle with a nice looking of glass. There is an Ace along with the glass, you can simply pour out the cocktail into the glass. There is a of hint smoke within the bottle, I bet that is the cinnamon smoke. It contains a strong alcohol flavor with a slight smokey cinnamon taste, not everyone can handle it for sure.

As for me, I chose How D’ya Like Them Apple? , which is also a phase that people usually say. Girls should be more enjoy with this cocktail, because it got a fruity sweet taste. The hint of gin, apple and lime juice is in well balanced, then topped with a sliced of apple crisp. So “How D’ya Like Them Apple?”

Then the dinner began with two Irish Rock Oyster, they are pairing with onion and vinegar sauce, Tabasco and lemon juice. That pinkish onion and vinegar sauce are rather sour but are super refreshing at the same time. The oysters were fresh and taste excellent with the sour onion and vinegar sauce and a few drops of lemon juice. It is totally remarkable and I am completely in love with it!!

We passed by CitySuper before we came here and we were just talking about tortellini. Hence, we decided to try Tortellini with Celery Root and Summer Truffle. Tortellini is rather common, yet it is rare to use Celery Root as the filling!! They are quite gentle to place few slices of truffle on top and non-seasonal Summer Truffle won't have a strong flavor to cover the celery taste. And that thin tortellini with a hint of refreshing celery flavor is absolutely delicious and outstanding.

Soon after one of our main course, Whole Sole Menuniere on the Bone with Finger Potatoes, has been served to the table. It is normal to eat a whole fish in Chinese cuisine, but not so likely in western dishes. It is presumably the western dishes are more delicate and fancy, the fish head are quite pretty for the plate. This menuniere was covered by capers and bread crumbs and surrounded by lemon butter sauce. Nonetheless, it is a bit salty, better to eat with the finger potato to neturalize the saltiness.

Another main course that we selected is 8oz Australian M6 Wagyu Picanha, it is made with a 300 days of grain-fed cow. To be a meat lover, you gotta choose medium rare for the beef to preserve its amazing flavor and texture. Yet, my boyfriend said it is too raw for him and we chose medium cooked at the end. Luckily, the pinkish meat is still visible, hell yeah baby!! The meat is not as tender as I expected though, which Wagyu beef should be rather tender. It was served with some French fries and two sauces, pepper sauce and south island sauce.

I had a look on Instagram about the restaurant, the Truffle Mac seems very appealing and we cannot resist from it. And it was a smart decision, because it tastes spectacular! The cooked penne mixed with truffle sauce and topped with few bread crumbs and herbs, everything is well combined and didn’t overshadow either of the flavors.

We won’t get satisfied until we have dessert lol, therefore we picked Almond and Honey Cake & Carrot Cake.

The Almond and Honey Cake was moisture and carried a light sweetness taste. It is pairing with the goat cheese icecream and that rich sheep’s milk flavor is oddly good. But I believe not everyone can handle the strong sheep’s milk flavor, make sure you are okay with that unique taste before you order. On the side, there are plenty of sweet and sour cranberries, jelly and cookie crumbs. There are lots of flavors and textures within this dessert and it is definitely delicate.

Carrot Cake may sound weird for local people, as they didn’t know carrot can actually be an ingredient for the dessert. Nevertheless, carrot cakes are normal in western country and they are super yummy. This sponge cake contains a light carrot flavor and it is sided with the homemade carrot sorbet, lemon curd, marinated carrot and few more ingredients. There is s fresh taste among the carrot sorbet, it is a bit interesting. Overall this dessert is okay, I would preferred the Almond and Honey Cake over this.

We were pretty full from all those tasty dishes, thus we asked for some tea and coffee to erase the heaviness. However, we didn’t expect there is a complimentary dessert along with the tea and coffee. It got a stunning presentation, I can ensure girls would love this. The sweet bites are placed on the stairway, there are Coconut Soft Candy, Lime Zest and White Chocolate and Strawberry Gummy. They are all rather sweet though, so is not suitable for me at that time.
