The shari was mildly flavored which didn't overwhelm the neta. Various toppings had been used such as seaweed salt, myoga and umeboshi. Was thrilled to have the rare catch kue even in the lunch menu. Hakkaku was a standout which tasted extra rich and buttery. The fresh hotate and aoriika were meticulously prepared to enhance the texture.

Tuna of the day was a 13 days aged maguro from Oma in Aomori - akami was full of umami and otoro was easy to chew. Kurumaebi wasn't fully cooked and tasted sweet and crunchy. Saba with shiroita konbu wrapped in nori, was my personal favorite packed with fish oil .

Guests may have either coffee or ice cream to finish off the meal. Even we requested less shari right from the beginning, the whole portion was huge. Must-try if you're looking for a sushi place with good value for money.
