I struggle to find good pho in HK as I grew up in SF where there are many good Vietnamese shops that serves great pho. A lot of the pho shops here lack in broth and even the noodle. Seems like they use a different kind here and they tend to overcook it. Locomotive, though unmatchable to SF's, offers a different spin on the broth of the pho by making it sweeter through adding radish. Seems like they use a different kind here and they tend to overcook it. Locomotive, though unmatchable to SF's, offers a different spin on the broth of the pho by making it sweeter through adding radish. I do like the taste of it and can't help but lap it up especially in the winter. The contents with the raw beef and tendon are also not bad. If you order the locomotive, the pho is huge and can easily be shared with a friend. Be prepared with separate spoons or you will end up fighting for the broth.
