So here we go again, like I've promised, the White Burger at last! Is white (W) better than black (B)? There is only one way to find out.Previously at McDonald's...After going on the dark side, I've decided it was time to switch back to 'plain white'. This time, the set meal only cost $28.80, but since I asked for an iced lemon tea instead of a softdrink, it was $3.00 more. People were right, white had a better taste. At least, I believe so. Previously at McDonald's... After going on the dark side, I've decided it was time to switch back to 'plain white'. This time, the set meal only cost $28.80, but since I asked for an iced lemon tea instead of a softdrink, it was $3.00 more. People were right, white had a better taste. At least, I believe so. White buns were "normal" whereas black buns were 'mushy'. White buns didn't have the not-so-pleasant-inky-floury taste that black buns did. The White Burger's chicken patty had the same texture as McNuggets (my all-time Mcfavourite) – crispy on the outside and hot, juicy and tender on the inside. Mushroom and black pepper flavours were very much present in the potatoes, a tiny bit too peppery, but mashed potato W still had a softer taste than mashed potato B. As for the bacon, it was the same greasy material for both burgers. No comment for the lettuce. And for the fries, in both cases, they were too dried-out. Overall, the White Burger tasted a bit better. Perhaps the Black Burger is slightly too unconventional?
