We come here whenever someone feels like eating the signature 花雕蒸花蟹+陳村粉. I don’t like crab and don’t really appreciate 花雕 , but I love the 陳村粉, which never seemed to be enough for everyone. Texture was just right, perfectly balanced having absorbed all the sweetness of the chicken oil, wine and crab essence. 桂花茶燻雛鴿- could smell the aroma from faraway. Perfectly done. Skin was crispy, meat was moist and tender.
日本清酒浸蜆- clams were meaty and juicy
昆布蒸鮑魚仔- abalone was not hard at all
花膠螺頭燉雞湯- not oily at all
養生豉油雞- meat very tender and juicy.
鴨汁和臣花菇配蝦子柚皮- I don’t normally like 柚皮,but these were not bitter at all and no fibers. Also not normally a fan of Chinese mushrooms, but those were spongy, oozing strong flavors of the duck sauce.
九製陳皮華梅一字骨- loved the sauce also.
魚湯浸時菜- fish broth very yummy. Loved the mixture of 蓮子and 腐竹。
薑米瑤柱櫻花蝦蛋白炒飯- a bit too gingery for me, but liked the crunchiness of the 櫻花蝦 mixed with everything. Rice could be a teeny bit less crunchy tho.
蝦子蝦油蔥油撈面- was too full by then so only tried a small mouthful. Tasted a bit dry.
椰汁棗茸糕- always room for dessert! Stickiness texture was just right.
In summary: recommended, esp with more people so could try more dishes. Would def keep returning.
