The weather has finally cooled down a little this week and with Christmas decors everywhere, this is truly my favourite time of the year! Personally, and as with most things, I find the anticipation for Christmas way more fun and exciting than the actual arrival of Christmas Day itself 😉 And there is nothing more Christmasy than freshly baked cookies 😍 Stopped by cookie vission in the Tai Hang area and everything just looked and smelled absolutely amazing! We opted for a classic in the end, triple chocolate with a dark chocolate dough base, topped with 60% dark chocolate chips, milk chocolate chips and cookies&cream white choicolate chunks. IT WAS AMAZING! So incredibly rich and chocolatey, with a gooey centre yet the dough retained a fluffy texture, with moist crumbs that clung to each other without turning into a mushy mess. The white chocolate chunks were a tad too sweet for me but they were caramelised into a beautiful toasty golden colour.
Would love to try a classic chocolate chip from them next, as there’s just something magical about a simple butter and sugar cookie base topped with chocolate chips!
