難得的中秋假日,天氣悶熱又暴雨,郊遊不成唯有歎茶去。天寶閣位於尖沙咀喜來登酒店的二樓,門面是典型的中式裝潢,內裡呈L形,位置非常寬敞,大廳和偏廳之間的冬降機前還設了梳化供客人休息,空間感很足夠。今日走在街上,感覺人很少,還想大多數人應該選擇外遊離港,結果酒樓還是全店滿座。店內甚少二人桌,以麻雀枱搭成的木桌有「頂腳」之感。放在桌上的點心紙一共有三款,已整齊地放在轉盤膠架內,拿起來仔細看,發現那種設計跟小時候做學能測驗時由電腦去批改的答題紙像得很,不禁付人會心微笑。先來一碟富士竹炭焗叉燒包($46/兩件),最大特色也許在於黑漆漆的麵包皮,雖然竹炭近年常常被運於用料理之中,但似乎仍未有研究証實它能吸走人體內的毒素或含有營養值,如果真是這樣,本身沒有味道的竹炭便淪為天然染色劑而已。眼前的叉燒包非常重手,麵包皮卻很薄,不易拿上手。包身表面的雪山脆脆沒能發揮香脆的口感,整片已經軟掉,令口感有點失色。內餡的叉燒醬料味道濃郁,叉燒用上片片瘦肉,顏色卻不太自然。天寶鮮蝦餃一籠四件,盛惠$60,是今餐比較養眼的點心。蝦餃size比一般巨型,摺口不馬虎,內裡蝦仁大大件,爽口飽滿,雖然加入了荀乾,但口感軟軟的
