今晚和友人來到元朗西菁街一帶,以往都是在千色附近搵食,原來街頭都有一堆餐廳。喜歡吃泰菜的友人二話不說選擇了「公車泰國餐廳」。「公車泰國餐廳」裝潢以綠色為主,店內掛有不少充滿泰國風情的裝飾。拼盤包括了5款小食。豬肉串燒烤得香口,塗上了沙嗲醬,還夾雜着花生粒粒。炸魚餅好特別,混了枝豆令口感增加,而且香茅味頗濃郁。反而炸蝦餅就相對普通,略嫌未夠彈牙感。炸春卷和炸蝦片都十分香脆。優惠價下非常抵食,因為即叫即燒,所以等侯時間較長。燒排骨超大的一條,夾起撕咬好爽。入口好香好惹味,有陣陣冬陰醬的酸辣味。中間部位的肉質比較軟腍,頭尾位置則有點柴,略嫌未夠juicy。本身就很喜歡吃炒通菜!加入馬拉盞醬一同炒香,通菜味道變得更加惹味。金邊粉好大碟!粉麵炒得入味,味道酸甜,而且附有一小塊青檸,榨汁後會令酸味更加突出,好醒胃。配餸分別有鮮蝦、雞肉、雞蛋等,再撈上碟旁的花生碎同吃,每一口的口感都十分豐富。份量好多,有6個。分別由2層組成,上層是椰汁底,下層是粟米和西米。粟米西米層味道偏淡,和椰汁底拌勻就剛剛好。椰香味很濃,甜度適中。和友人一人一杯泰式特飲,分別有泰式椰汁冰,以及泰式珍多冰。2款都不會太甜。
