之前暫停晚市堂食時早已留意到其他人推薦品記鮮粉人家的外賣雞煲套餐,但始終雞煲趁熱享用才是最佳狀態,現時恢復堂食當然親身到訪一試,晚上七時半前結帳離座更有早鳥優惠88折。除了主打火鍋、重慶雞煲、老壇酸菜魚及麻辣小龍蝦之外,涼拌小食、炸物和小菜都一應俱全,外面亦有自助醬料吧可以自行調配火鍋蘸料。黃金皮蛋 ($38) 有別於一般皮蛋烏黑如漆,呈琥珀色而味道亦相對溫和,醬汁酸酸辣辣作為前菜相當開胃。炸雞皮餃子 ($88) 以雞皮包住肉餡油炸而成,雞皮酥脆香口之餘油香更加豐腴。絕味小酥肉 ($88) 同樣炸得外脆內軟,肉質軟嫩肥美並保留肉汁。麻辣小龍蝦 ($228/兩斤) 向來並非以「啖啖肉」為賣點,但殼身裡裡外外均充份裹上香料醬汁,香辣惹味。重慶雞煲 ($238/一隻) 加入秘製醬料、洋蔥、芹菜、香菇及芫荽,更可加錢升級配上鮑魚或牛筋腩,雞肉肉質嫩滑,入味之餘不會過鹹。自家製鳳城水餃 ($68/打) 皮薄餡靚,餡料加入蝦肉質感爽彈亦更添鮮味,另外亦少不了手切本地肥牛、美國黑豚肉、海蝦等火鍋配料,選擇豐富。
