To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. - 甜品
未講食,先講飲,因為食物區較頭嘅位置,就喺飲品,包括凍檸水、橙汁、檸檬片、即磨咖啡、紅茶。選擇比較大路,所以,今晚飲得唔多,用餐時就飲咗一、兩橙汁,配甜點就飲杯咖啡。
兩大盆沙律菜、多種配料、4款醬汁,都整齊排列好,仲有3款預製好嘅沙律,雖然,無咩特色食材,但要砌出一道開胃沙律都絕無問題。
自助餐一向會提供三幾款生果,今晚所見就有西瓜、哈蜜瓜及新鮮菠蘿。
呢個類別反而有啲驚喜喎,平常所見,唔喺雜錦凍腸,就喺煙三文魚,今趟都有,但就多咗好多少見嘅款式:豬肉啫喱凍、燒釀雞卷、黑椒吞拿魚、海鮮紫菜蛋卷、蟹肉水晶。最搞鬼竟然有蠔油齋及甜酸齋,小弟無試,但老婆試咗話麻麻哋。
講開啲冷盤,就順便介紹埋口個芝士盤。共有4款芝士,配啲克力架及紅提子。芝士一向都喜歡飲湯時襯麵包食,不過,影完相之後,食食吓其他嘢就遺忘咗而無試。
講吓啲刺身先,雖然無標任何名牌,但由於款式比較為港人熟悉,都認得出有咩選擇,如希靈魚、八爪魚、三文魚、吞拿魚及油甘魚。全部放晒入凍櫃,保存鮮度,要幾多,切幾多。另一邊就仲有甜蝦、北寄貝及精緻嘅冷麵杯。
突然由侍應送上每人一客波士頓龍蝦伴法國鵝肝,賣相都幾精緻架,正正食完啲生冷嘢,嚟一道熱盆就可以暖暖胃。點解件龍蝦無咗鉗,原來師傅拆埋肉,放晌蝦殼內一齊焗,啲蝦肉鮮甜爽口,而且,有唔少蝦膏;至於件鵝肝,大件夠睇頭,更煎到外脆內嫩,豐腴綿滑。
缺少龍蝦、生蠔等貴價海鮮,陣容自不然喺無咁震撼,凍海鮮只有翡翠螺、龍蝦仔、青口、凍蝦、雪蟹腳、阿拉斯加蟹腳。最鍾意喺啲阿拉斯加蟹腳,做成小杯,一邊殼已經削開咗,方便食用。
食咗份凍海鮮,就再飲番碗湯嚟暖吓胃。照大多數自助餐嘅慣例,多數都會提供一中一西嘅餐湯,西湯有周打海鮮湯,而中湯以為喺碗仔翅,睇真啲原來喺海龍皇酸辣湯。餐湯旁就放有麵包籃,有布巾冚住,比較衛生。
突然間,聽到有敲鐘聲,依家好多自助餐都會玩敲鐘,一有敲鐘聲就表示有啲特別嘢推出。睇見開放式廚房一角有人排隊,就知嗰邊有好嘢,原來喺焗珍寶蠔,仲加咗酒嚟燒一燒,火光熊熊,夠晒卓頭。
開放式廚房嘅另一角,又有個即煮嘅海鮮窩,睇嚟幾正咁,所以,同老婆嗌一客一齊試。味道可以揀蒜蓉、咖喱、薑蔥,最便民喺每枱有個膠枱號牌仔,擺低個牌俾師傅,佢整好就有侍應送上嚟,非常貼心嘅安排。
此外,呢一組食物區,仲有粉麵檔,兩款粉麵,有多種配料供配搭,不過,晌自助餐度,粉麵一向唔喺我杯茶,因為,叫粉麵等同為樖樹,放棄個森林。但如果真喺想食,都可以走粉麵,淨食餸,變成一道中式火鍋。
喺即場由師傅即點即做,其實,我都想試架,只喺見佢個樣本本身都頗十份,得我哋兩公婆,老婆本身食力有限,最後,都只好放棄無試。
烤肉方面,好多餐廳都只供應一款,例如西冷、牛柳、豬髀之類,但呢度就有兩款:燒西冷及燒羊髀,睇外觀非常靚仔吓,所以,一陣夾熱盤類時就搭多件薄切西冷。
輪到介紹熱盤區,就喺食物區嘅最尾,一字長形食物枱上擺出超過廿款食物:薄餅、焗釀蟹蓋、酥炸珍寶蠔、炸魚柳、炸蝦、炸蝦餅、泰式蔗蝦、自家製燒味、印式燒魚柳、牛肉咖喱、印度薄餅、海鮮意粉、燒羊架、燒汁魷筒、串標海鮮、碧綠鮑貝、清蒸粉絲扇貝、雜菇炒時蔬、清蒸海上鮮、干燒伊麵……等等。因為,今次心水嘅熱盤唔多,所以,除一開始影咗少少相之外,之後都無太留意有無轉款。
甜品嘅選擇都頗多,雖然全部都擺晌近食物區嘅頭段,但就分散晌唔同嘅枱上。先一口氣介紹有啲咩先:Häagen-Dazs雪糕專櫃、餐廳特別推介嘅雪耳冰糖蛋白杏仁燉奶、唔同口味嘅布甸、曲奇、綠豆沙、焗菠蘿牛油布甸、布朗尼、朱古力噴泉、生果酥、草莓乳酪蛋糕、伯爵朱古力奶凍、芒果椰子慕絲、焦糖燉蛋、式芝士蛋糕、綠茶芝士餅、雜果啫喱、焗藍莓杏仁金寶、栗子軟餅、焗西米栗子蓉布甸、黑朱古力蛋糕……等等,期間亦留意到有轉其他款式。
